Is that near Crestone, CO? Isn't Crestone some holy city? Isn't the area you're referring to some sacred native american land tied to some prophecy? I've driven through some of those places down there in CO and it's like there's some kind of earth-center or climate-center there... by center I mean the force is strong there.MtnDave303 wrote: I own ten acres in the San Luis Valley in Colorado. Im working on building a cabin/house there now, and I would really love to build a temple. I plan on building a dojo/temple and I would love for it to be with the Temple for Jedi purposes. I have learned various green/cheap/alternative building techniques, and that is what I plan to use. I would donate my time, resources, and part of my land to build a Jedi temple. I believe the San Luis Valley is a really good place to build such a temple. There are over two dozen spiritual centers/monasteries already there. I was planning on opening a school kinda thing there, where I could teach about brewing beer, permaculture, aquaponics, organic gardening, marijuana growing, etc and kind of have a monk/hermit thing going on, but I would totally love and be enthralled if we could make it a Jedi temple/monastery.

This is not a drugs discussion, if people want to have a drugs discussion then they should create a new topic and discuss it there...

BY THE POWER OF GRAYSKULL I OFFICIALLY APPROVE OF A TEMPLE. I'd also like to add that as an unofficial jedi and unofficial member of totjo I approve of building a temple there.

This has kind of sprung up around the quoted text so you can talk about any points related to this (and similar drug posts) here:

It is a little over an hour away from Crestone, but that is pretty close in Valley terms lol. It is a really magnificent area.
There is Hopi prophecy that says the Ant people that live in the Earth took the Hopi down into their tunnels at the end of the last age. After the destruction had passed they reemerged, and supposedly they are supposed to come again.

Hey man that's perfect! I saw some non-profit foundation in Crestone called the Manitou Institute which allegedly gives land grants of like 20 acres to religious organizations to build a retreat an/or temple. I bet if someone from TOTJO contacted them they could get the land free. And then we could all come hang with you at your cabin until the temple is setup. I bet we could have the temple doors open by the end of next week if we put our minds to it.MtnDave303 wrote:
