Actual Churches?
Br. John wrote: How about getting a local group together? If there's not even a few Jedi in an area who can meet at least once a month or so why worry about a building? There was an annual gathering in Tennessee last month and not a single person from TOTJO was there. That's OK. I was not able to go. But if we can't even have a few people get together once a year what good is a church somewhere that nobody will use?
Well thats another problem Br. John,
I'm not sure if you remember, but I was planning on going to the gathering. The only reason I didn't go was because there was not a clear address which I could use to get directions from my GPS. If there ever was an actual church / monastery built, it would be a good idea for it to have a clear point of operation, unlike the obscure one from the recent gathering in Tennessee
So long and thanks for all the fish

Yeah I think I'd rather have Jestor, Wescli, Br. John, Adder, Akkarin, Brenna, etc as my neighbors than some neighbors I have now. I mean I know it would be hard to live as a Jedi surrounded by Jedi because I'm flawed, but ya know I really belive in the principles in a deep-down sort of way so I'd be willing to adapt to the culture and thrive.ferreire580 wrote: Who wouldn't mind living next to Jestor! That would be awesome lol. But a good point was made. We wouldn't need an overly large group of Jedis. The whole place, if self sustainable, would need little care from nothing more then a skeleton crew. Even if it did get large, self sustained buildings have a reputation of being quite easy to work with. At least that's what I've heard, so don't berate me if I'm wrong
. We need some dedicated few who would be willing to stay indefinitely. With probably some rotation crew to give some time others to see there family if they want to. Especially some with some skills, like gardening, masonry, electrical work, maybe welding (me lmao). Basically volunteers who want to stay. They can live on what the temple provides (the physical one) like food that they grow. Maybe even livestock for meat. Some of us need our bacon rations. And whatever extra can be sold to the local shops and neighborhood for a little money for the next season and other things that would be needed for the people there. Honestly, that sounds like a good life and a stress free one. I would volunteer.

I am flattered my friend, but I would also say to you that we are all flawed. I think our flaws are part of what makes us unique.
