I always glance at this thread (if it shows up in the latest posts, page 1, haha) and I gotta say it's always been motivating to want to continue working out myself seeing everyone else doing it.
A fitness book I once read (or maybe it was on nerd fitness) said something along the lines of "don't compare yourself to anyone else when you're training. It doesn't matter how much weight the other person is moving, it only matters if you're doing better than you were last week"
And from one I did read in a book that weight lifters will no doubt appreciate: "don't worry about lifting too much too quickly. Just remember, somewhere, a little Chinese girl is warming up with your max." Which that goes back to the first quote about not worrying what others are doing and just improving yourself (and why I don't plan on listing the weight I'm pushing or pulling )
Anyway....
I'm LTK. I'd like to join in on this well-established thread and post my workouts in the hopes it may inspire others like the existing posts have already inspired me
Today was Upper Body and Abs and included the following:
3 x 10 incline barbell bench press
3 x 8 barbell curl
3 x 8 close-grip barbell flat bench press
3 x 8 alternating dumbbell curl
3 x 8 ez bar lying tricep extensions
hanging leg raises
bicycle crunches
ab wheel
My "music" choice was the morning news on 92.3FM KTAR

3 x 8 sitting leg extensions
3 x 8 lying hamstring extensions
3 x 10 side lateral raise
3 x 10 seated bent-over delt raise
3 x 8 barbell calf raises
3 x 8 one-leg barbell calf raises
"Music" choice once again was the morning news.

(For 5/3/1, I did a set of 5 at 75%, a set of 3 at 85%, and a set of 1 at 95%. Each percentage is based off of my training max, which is 90% of my estimated one-rep max.)

Almost ran out of day but I got my cardio in (it's much harder to motivate myself to do cardio than it is to lift weights)
I dug into the DVD archive and completed a round of P90X Plus, Kenpo Cardio Plus.
No music as I just followed along with the DVD.
