Day 77 checking in..

I decided to try and push myself today and run quite a bit faster than normal, but I ended up wearing myself out so I ran 4.6k in just over half hour.
Best track was B******** by Rammstein (The *** are not me, that's the actual song title).

My Son has been watching me workout with my 5 lbs. weight adjustable leg and arm weights that can be modified by removing 1/2 pound weights in the weight. I was curious to see if he could handle my weights, so i slowly started at 1/2 pound and worked up to five pounds which he seemed to have no problem with. However, he tells me that carrying a gallon milk jug is too heavy, so being curious, I looked up how much a gallon of milk weighs. This is what I found out: according to the USDA, a gallon of milk weighs 8.6 lbs. a gallon of water weighs 8.34 lbs. which is 3lbs. heavier than my arm and leg weights.

I just thought I would share this tidbit of information, since the workout suggests using gallon jugs as makeshift cheap weights. So you all know roughly how much you are lifting with each rep.

Day 78 checking in

15 minutes yoga + more bakasana practice. I'm getting quite good now so practise is definitely paying off. Arms a bit wobbly now though :P
