In addition (nod in concession to Br. John), it should have gardens, both aesthetic for meditation and overall appeal (feng shui?), and vegetable and herb gardens for self-sustainability. If it houses 30 people at a time, you would need about 60 square feet of garden space for just daily consumption. To prepare for winters, you would at least triple that to provide surplus for storage. Gardens, both aesthetic and functional, are cheap to create, and with the right mindset, are easy to maintain. As Jedi, it would be wise to incorporate that as a visual and physical means to develop our respect for all living things.

OK these pics are just for fun and are not meant to be used as a plan or proposal!!!! This is just me messing around with concepts for my own entertainment but I thought I'd post them here anyway.
Since I'm not into shared facilities such as bathrooms and sleeping quarters, I'd have each room with a simple shower, toilet and hand basin and single berth only.
So just for fun I threw together some ideas based on the Temple logo, but the result would only be good for a training Temple and might need extra out buildings for laundry and facility keepers quarters. Its not big, but meant to be fully functional but not too expensive.
In the middle would be an organic looking elevated platform perhaps reminiscent of the overwatch position Yoda had in SW:ROTS when Order 66 went out. This wouldnt have to be too high above the ground, keeping costs down, but could be used for ritual, council meetings, meditation etc. It needn't be built on a tree either LOL.
The logo points could be made of grassed dirt, if a wall was built behind each hall then dirt could be stacked up and angled down outwards. This would provide a cheap but effective wind, electromagnetic, blast and sound shielding to the buildings. The result would visually be appealing as the Temple would seem to sit within a small hill with the elevated platform sitting in the middle above the top. Importantly though these angled platforms could support a hydroponic setup which flowed nuntrients across and down, and the different aspects might suit different plants which have different sun exposure preferences.
If you look at the pics the accomodation of this temple is only 8 people at a time, so yea, its just quite small and uses a lot of space for equipment like a soundproof room for experimenting with sounds frequancies and meditation, a pace for martial arts training and a gym etc, and each Jedi room is meant to be very private and liveable. Perhaps a bigger version with more Jedi Room Blocks would be better!!
Of course every room needs its own wall mount flatscreen TV so the meditations and lectures can be replayed via a local network
The shower is a sort of neat trick by using two doors to create a closed space. Each bathroom would needs its own ceiling air vent and fan of course to keep moisture/smell out of such a confined space.
Too much spare time on my hands?

Dang Adder, that's inspiring! What program did you use to make the layouts? In your conceptions how much space (ft x ft/yd x yd) does each building occupy?
I definitely think more stuff like this should be posted- just to bounce ideas around. Who knows, someone might pick some of them up when a real world temple/training ground is created.

Its a discontinued app called gmax , which I only keep using because it uses a Studio Max type of interface - it is not really suitable for anything anymore and definitely not for creating building plans. Its just something I use to mess around because its light on computer resources, familiar and an old habit.
Internal dimensions of the room are meant to be 5x4 metres, which looks to be say 17 x 13 ft perhaps. The larger blocks are 35x15m which might be around 115x50 ft.
