The book on Amazon is more like 300... but, it's all opinion essays.

Seriously? 4 pages but the one on amazon is 300. So its not actually a free book after all. Thats what I thought.

Mmkay.

How's about we try this again?

The Jedi Compass is 4 pages long.

The other 296 pages is simply commentary on the Jedi Compass. And, it's not important. Forget it. You can get all you need to know from the 4 pages in the doc.

I'm done. I've taken up enough space in this thread.

Why is it supposed to be such a big deal then? Heck the doctrine here is probably longer than that.

Not everyone here has read the Jedi Compass, but a lot of people find it useful. Some others don’t. That’s fine. Not everyone here has read the Art of Peace either, but many love it. It doesn’t make either person more or less “Jedi”, just different. Let’s try to celebrate that diversity rather than imposing our preferences on others and appreciate all wisdom for what it can offer us on our Paths.

To Kyrin and Zenchi. Anyone reading this thread is well aware by now that you disagree on most things and don’t exactly get along. You don’t have to be friends, but at least try to remain respectful to others trying to participate in this conversation by keeping responses about the topic and not each other. Thank you.

So I did read through the compass and I find it not much different than the doctrine here. I would change/remove about 50% of it for my personal path and reword some more. As well I would add probably about 50% more new stuff.

I don't know Kyrin I've read your creed and aside from directional interpretation, I could view them as having the same intent.

I think Campbell said it best by saying,"Follow your bliss, what you will find is a happy life."
