Well of course I was never all that convinced that I'd be able to afford that weekend early in May either, because that's still quite soon. I certainly hadn't committed to it either way. But as I said, I definitely couldn't do the week before that. The later the better for me really, but of course Ace wouldn't be able to come if it was later, so you don't necessarily need to take me into account. Someone's got to lose out here!

Edit: And only my Dad calls me Victoria. And even then, only when I'm in trouble! :laugh:

Although I did just look at train tickets and I could potentially afford to get there and back sometime soon. It's the money that we might spend whilst we're there that I'm more worried about! So you guys can go punting and I'll sit on the river bank and watch and save money

And regarding transport: We can always cycle. It's very fashionable to do so in cambridge. And you can put bikes in trains.

If the dates are a problem, why don't we have it a bit later. If the only reason we're trying to do it sooner is to beat Baral to the "1st Jediist Gathering in the UK" title, then who cares? Let him have his 5 minutes of fame - all I want is the opportunity to gather and have fun
