I would think questioning your faith is something everyone does. It gives a deeper understanding and sometimes leads to a falling away.
Sometimes to return stronger or not at all.

Its part of at least most people I know not to blindly follow.

And the same I would think of the Sith

Its good to have different opinions. And interesting to read peoples opinion about the sith code.

One thing I do wonder the Sith themselves, its not a faith, but a way of life?
So do you believe in the force?
If I say I believe in an energy/life force that connects everything as a Jedi
Does the Sith have a belief similar or not at all?
If not why use this code?
Is there a reason such as familiarity like through star wars to draw people in? Or do you develop your own codes, to live, grow by?
Just dont see how this code fits with what I have read on sith sites.

Or are we discussing it because its at least familiar to Jedi?

Everything is belief

Carlos,

This discussion’s purpose is to introduce Sith resources to the people who asked for them.

Everything else is my pokey curiosity and trying to get some interesting discussion going. I see no lack of tact. We’re all learning.

Great questions! I’ll run these by sith and see what they have to say.

My current working interpretation of the Sith code right now is this. This is after roughly 15 years with which to do so. Refining it through trial and error.

"Peace is a lie"

I am dissatified or not content with (x) in my life. The status quo will no longer suffice.

"There is only Passion"

I want (x) my "True Will."

"Through Passion i gain Strength"

Gotta build the necessary skills, abilities, relationships, attributes, etc, to get (x)

"Through Strength i gain Power"

Use what you have built to get (x)

"Through Power i gain Victory"

Achieving what you have worked for.

Sad guys - I know what y’all are doing and it’s sad really- bad form.
This never works out - but continue if you like. I’m not telling you no, and I’m sure you guys are having a blast . Coming to this Temple and instigate things isn’t what we are about. Sad really. Feel free to have the last say. Things that don’t change can be predicted easily. May the Force be with you. Manu - my manu- I miss u. Hope you find or are finding what you have been seeking.

I’m right here, bro. :)

The optimist expects it to change;
The realist adjusts the sails.

I am not sure I understand what you think is happening.
But I asked about the Sith because I think it is worth understanding.
Here I can ask and maybe learn about stuff, I find interesting.
This isnt connor or anyone else but about wanting to find an understanding because I think both sides of the coin is needed to see the whole picture.

Feel free but also understand that there are web sites you can go to on your own. Sith vs the Temple is a harmful thing.

Edit: to learn about the Sith visit a sith site- please don’t ask here in a Jedi Temple. That’s not what we do.

It’s bad form and it can harm more than anything. This is only my opinion but there is more going on that this I promise you. This is teaching flat out. We expressly ask not to shunn around the rules and it will result in the same results as breaking the rules. You think that out of respect - if one person asks another person not to , they would - instead of insisting on continuing? Not the case here. The Associate Pastor of the Temple request you not —-but notice ... this will continue. So , I understand what this is. Trust me. Should you continue is up to you. Thank you for your time.

Carlos, you're either mistaken or pushing an agenda. Please clarify which it is.
