The Grateful Thread

Truly grateful for my three wonderful Apprentices, and their calming presence in our sometimes stormy Temple.

I love hearing those voices, their perspectives and their insight.

Grateful that things some people tell me are keeping me humble.

I just opened this thread to say that exact same thing. Well, the same idea anyway.

I'm grateful to Li Cunxin (Mao's Last Dancer) for choosing to return to ballet but mostly for doing so at my local State company, even if its only as Artistic Director, as it has been great watching the very talented dancers and listening to his enthusiasm over the last couple of years. I should a been a ballerina

I'm grateful to Wescli and the sex question thread. I haven't honestly actually read much of it but I believe it's a great way to gently open up a box that has been pretty taboo here and pretty open-minded, Thanks to all who got/ are getting involved in that!

I am grateful that my fellow disciples came back together after a 7 year hiatus to train in Shaolin.

Grateful for conferences that take me to new places, and incredibly supportive colleagues and friends who helped me through my first conference presentation!

I'm grateful for Jedi who are more experienced that I am who are able to express my opinions better than I can.

I am grateful that the Grateful thread is so close to passing the rants thread.

I am grateful that sometimes my faith in humanity is rewarded, especially after it was let down so very hard not long before.
