Grateful for my wife and children. There may be nothing more infectious than my youngest laughing at the antics of his older brother. It more than makes up for a rough day.

I am grateful that the Mexican place down the way delivers.

I am thankful that people care for those who aren't their own blood, and consider them like family.

I've spent the last two days feeling ugly because the scar on my right hand didn't mend properly. They took the stitches out and it opened right up again like a horror film, but it's "healed" inside... so I've got a huge, disgusting 3" forever-hole in my hand. I can't even bear to look at it... it looks like chewed hamburger.
I went into a store today to search for gloves to cover it at work tonight. I couldn't find any and ended up buying a sleeveless shirt in a style that I've never been confident wearing. I don't know why. The heat was so uncomfortable outside that I changed into it in the store's bathroom. On the way out of the store, a woman in the parking lot just randomly approached me and said "you are so pretty".
I don't know who she was or why she did it, but I nearly burst into tears.
Thank you, random lady, whoever you were.

I don't really know how to put this. My father died in 2008 at age 37 from random unknown causes. So I thank everyone I know, and I mean everyone, for helping from then, to now. Almost a decade later. I know that he has transcended into the Force, and I am grateful for the Force, for all of you, for the Jedi, for The internet, for George Lucas, for everyone. I thank the Force for everyone.

I'm grateful for karaoke tracks on YouTube, which have allowed me to sing "Hamilton" like a superstar all afternoon.
