We haven't been building totem poles in the Seminary ... :P

Renny I would suggest you read Alain de Botton's Religion for Atheists as therenis a very relevant chapter regarding education as compared to secular and religious institutions - one teaches knowledge and the other wisdom - which is something I had noticed prior.

aye aye, Captain.
I will see to it when I don't have a book to read.
also made me think of what Dex said to Obi wan in Episode 2

It really is a good book, Renny ... All of Chapter IV is about religions' way of education on things that we have bled out of institutional education since the 19th century.

But if you don't have time to read a book (actually, Dax would have liked this particular book), then listen to the author tell you about it :

Councillor is most definitely an office, where does it say it is a status V?

http://www.templeofthejediorder.org/faq#AdditionalRanks

Concerning that link they are all offices so I will remove/combine that faq tomorrow. Also anyone who is a member in good standing has the status of Temple Member. Also a knight who is prepared to train an apprentice has the status of both temple member and training/teaching master.

http://www.templeofthejediorder.org/component/content/article/34-policies/2039-laws-relating-to-the-definition-of-rank-and-status

I am sorry to bump my own post but several people thanked ren's comments about the structure lesson not being needed and I proposed that we changed that lesson to this as a compromise and no one has mentioned...

Back to beginning

This is purely an administrative lesson, if you wish to begin with a more enlightening or profound lesson, and revisit this at a later date, then please begin at lesson one (Myth) and onwards.

As a member of our organisation it will help to understand how it is structured, please see the links provided under the tasks for some related information about them

Structure of the Temple

Task 1 - What are the differences between the non-clerical ranks?
Task 2 - Who currently occupies which office within the Temple?

Seems like a fair compromise to me, and I still like having it up front. Thanks Akkarin.

I read the Lesson 0 , but I have a Question...I have seen a bunch of different people of different positions and ranks do what would be considered "clerical" so my question is : what is considered non-clerical and what is considered clerical if everyone does stuff considered "clerical"
