Before you start misleading people on me being a copyright infringer

Read what I wrote. I simply said the legal issues were a matter of copy written material.

That's all.

On another note, it also got brought not only to the FA, but my home site as well.

As for pushing your buttons Jestor, I can't imagine how pointing out childish behavior as such is a problem.

It must be my good looks alone that warrant my survival here then.

For Maynoth, it is more important to be right than to survive. I only post the way I do so people might see this and let him alone.

It was your good looks, but now your are avatar-less... lol...

You don't really bother me....

See, when a person comes at another, as you did there, and have before, and probably will again, seldom does it end, uh, peacefully...

Force meets force...

But, then you get some one riled, some one not as in control of themself as you, then you sit back, and watch the "show", lol...

Showing how "un-jedi-like", "unenlightened", or something they are, because they loose their cool...

Force-1 meets force-2, then force-1 steps aside...

I really enjoy your input, as it gives those notcas far along the path, a chance to learn control...

Its easy to do when everyone is polite, lol...

When an individual such as yourself comes at another of similar thought, it takes all the fun out... lol...

Force-1 meets No resistance.. lol... no conflict...;)

I can't test anyone, lol, or we'd have FA2 over here... lol...

Like in martial arts, my brother...

Don't meet force with force, is my motto... lol...

"Be like water"...

On walk-about...

Sith ain't Evil...
Jedi ain't Saints....

Thank You for this topic.

The expression “all groups are the same” rose up inside of me last year when a friend of mine and his church were in an uproar over the Pastor dating a congregant, which was against the church’s bi-laws. My friend tortured himself and enveloped himself in the church communities conflict. “it aint right . .wrong is wrong”, he talked about this topic over and over again.

And then the topic was “inconsiderate drivers” . .

Ant then the topic was . . .

Okay, yeah, technically speaking yes . . .

First things first, all the groups i am referring to are made up of humans, on-line and offline (families too) It’s like a one room school house. Everyone within the group is in a different place at the same time and everyone makes mistakes or enter the shade green when the group calls themself blue. Someone freaks out. Someone defends. Someone stays calm. Some form alliances. . . there are many roles and functions on the group stages.

If enough are joined and focused in a common purpose, the group lives on and grows . . if not . . well it fall aparts and completes itself (permanently or perhaps a thread a few threads of it rise in a different form.

This is the nature of groups.

There is a native american indian story where the warrior points his finger up to Great Spirit and says “oh Great Spirit, teach me to fight the enemy” To which Great Spirit answers, “the enemy is within you"

This is politics pure and simple.

In most communities, you show respect to the leaders and those in positions of power.

People who show no respect are actively repressed.

That's how it has always been, and will always be.

Rules are applied differently based on a group and their leadership's biases.

He refuses to play the game with this and various other communities, and that is what has led to this situation.

i suggest you look up the definition of politics , tho i agree that 'In most communities, you show respect to the leaders and those in positions of power.' this is a jedi temple. affording a certain level of respect to those within it, in particular senior members and administrators, is something of a given.

I agree with the sentiment of your statement Des. But, I would add that just because I carry some title does not in itself afford me any respect that is unwarranted. Basically, if I do not behave accordingly then I shouldn’t be treated as those that do.

For me, respect is not something I go out and “earn,” but rather people feel that I have earned it and award me with it. If that makes any sense?

Just as I try (admittedly not always successful) to be respectful of all others, I would hope that others behave the same.

In general, I choose not to view it as people are in a position of power so to say, but rather they are in a position of authority. Authority is granted by others and can always be revoked. So that is the real difference. Just my opinion mind you. ;)

Many of you are focusing on second aspect to my post and not the first. My apologies for not making myself clear. I don't care about Maynoth being banished. I care about the lack of respect and understanding being demonstrated in the front lobby of the church. Amongst the backdrop of a brilliant light there is darkness here. A darkness that creeps to the center of the TOTJO. From my low vantage point it seems that nothing is being done about this... The assaults continue.
Jestor, maybe it IS time to take my ball and go home.

Donkey, people are ignoring your post because it is somewhat unwarranted. You have provided no proof of your statements that there is a lack of respect and understanding.

I'm not saying that everyone here is respectful all the time, humans make mistakes and we have to learn from them and grow. They can't just ban everyone who slips up once. We learn to care about each other in this community and we forgive the mistakes of others. It is important, however, that we remove some people in the interest of protecting the majority here. No one is out to attack those that aren't really here for Jediism, but it is important to defend Jediism. Those that prove to be detrimental to our community are banned and those who aren't detrimental are tolerated.

May the Force be with you,
Rai
