I have no relationship to Maynoth but I am shocked that he has been permanently banned from the site.
The Council and its administrators repeatedly allow members of the Council, Senior Jedi Knights, and Jedi Knights to publicly support terrorists, misogyny and hate speech yet kick a guy off because he is "not offering anything constructive"? If we are going to stand for free speech than lets stand for ALL free speech. Otherwise, it feels like "some animals are more equal than others".

Maynoth knows what he does.

As a close friend (as far as internet friends go) to him, I understand his position and why he does what he does. He expects to be banned, but treats it like a martyrdom, bringing truth to the people whom he thinks need it.

donkey, you have not been here long enough to reach 'full maynoth oversaturation'. this is not the first time he has been banned, only the first time with that screen name. he is a repeat offender.

to get a better idea of what i am talking about, read through this thread entitled mind altering drugs.

He has been banned from other sites, and at those sites also brought in legal issues on top of his tiresome rhetoric.

More trouble than hes worth, and he hardly comes off as a martyr to anyone but himself I imagine.

Most fanatics dont, but is there potential? certainly.

Am I claiming Maynoth fanatical? Yes,such is evident in the manner of which he posts, for years now, across many sites.

Also, bringing in legal issues sites such as this because of problems he has/starts with members in regards to material that is apparently copywritten was indeed harmful to the site as a whole.

I'll take your word for it that he is a fanatical copy write infringer...my point wasn't that Maynoth is a stand up guy. My point is that some people are kicked off for saying the wrong things and some people aren't. why is that ok?

When you come to a discussion forum, you expect to be able to have conversations in which you can communicate on some level.

Certainly at one with the range of topics discussed here. Communication, and the ability to interact with each other is highly important to gain beneficial experience and growth.

If you do not come to a forum to communicate, but preach fanatically(without regard of whether or not your communicating your fanatical message), and not listen to anything anyone else says, then all you are doing is distracting, derailing, and sabotaging, in essence trolling the forum.

Which is harmful to the site, the ability of its members to communicate there thoughts(right or wrong)and get anything useful out of the experience.

Depends I guess on what your criteria for trolling is.

The only opinion that matters in that regard, is the stewards of this site.

Its there house, there rules.

Much like it is at my physical house.

I reserve the right to invite, or see out, anyone I wish in regards to my own criteria.

I dont owe an explanation, nor, in this case, would I expect one.

Any that would be forthcoming I imagine wouldnt be too different from what I have said though.
