I'm grateful that I got to spend the morning at a client's today... the office was quiet, the sun was shining through the windows, and I could hear the birds singing. Lovely.

It's Mother's Day in the US, but I think we should be grateful for all types of "parents" today, regardless of gender or title/status. I'm almost completely estranged from my irl family, so today I'm going to say thank you to my family in House Orion. You guys rock :)

Today I am grateful for fitness technology. While I understand that I don't need a Fitbit to track activity and count calories to aid in weight loss it sure does help. Especially when I have 20 pounds to lose before my wedding in 4 months.
