To the ladies at the DMVs, the one who helped me with my title and tag, and the other two who were willing to accept a normally not accepted form of ID (cause the doofus at the front said it was fine) for DL. While it still took ages, it was probably the smoothest, easiest DMV visit ever.

You talk about god like it's an orgasm.
You make it look easy and I hate you.
It was hard not to write in your book.

Thank you.

Corey Taylor (the singer from Slipknot and Stone Sour) just clicked the little heart button on my response to his twitter pic.

I have been a fan of his for 15 years.

Excuse me while I scream.

Today I woke up and my alarm had not gone off. I thought to myself "I better check the time, just to cover myself". I was 45 minutes late getting up.

If I had rolled over and waited for the alarm(which, apparently had already gone off and I didn't wake to it) it would've been my boss and my daughters school calling to find out where I am.

Today I am grateful for looking out for myself.

I am grateful for creationists, Geocentrists, and flat-earthers. Well...not really, but they provide a lot of entertainment if you ignore how much damage they are doing to the public's ability to think logically and scientifically. (which you shouldn't ignore for long, just long enough to get a good laugh out of it.)

I am also grateful for scientists who take the time to creatively debunk the above mentioned theories in fun ways.

I am grateful for the teeny tiny perping tree frogs outside my house today. There must be several hundred, all down in the big "lake" that has formed because of our recent heavy rains.

The tune goes like this:

If you drive on a rainy night (like last night) you'll see them hopping across the road in your headlights xD

I am grateful that while I don't often want to do the hard work I feel very satisfied with having done it once I started.
