One mistake I see in your thinking is that these worlds came into being, they existed prior to their observation, the "future" has already happened, and the "past" continues to exist, and not just one future or past, all possible futures and all possible pasts for all possible observers. All of them just as real as the present moment you now experience, all populated by minds just as real as your own.

The only reason we think something exists in the future or past is because of our current location and movement.

If they are worlds where each individual conscious being has made a different choice, then what caused the choices to be different? If what caused your choice to be different was someone else's choice, and what caused there choice was yet another's choice this leads one to a final conclusion, parallel universes can't be based upon the choice's of conscious beings that have been based on the choices of other conscious beings. They would always turn out the same. They would all be traced back to the first conscious beings original choice, and all future choices would turn out the same. The possibility of parallel universes comes into being when you realize that some choices concious beings make are based on random things in the universe. Only choices based on true randomness can yield different results, to think otherwise is the definition of insanity: to try the same thing over and over again in the exact same conditions and expect different results.
