If we ever do get solid indirect evidence (rather than seeing first hand) of the MWI it will probably be via quantum computing, via a quantum computer so powerful it defies human understanding and logic.

He talks about something different from what I've found, but maybe all roads lead to Rome. I like his work though.

Is it not good to know what follows from what, even if it is not necessary FAPP? [FAPP is Bell’s suggested abbreviation of “for all practical purposes.”] Suppose for example that quantum mechanics were found to resist precise formulation. Suppose that when formulation beyond FAPP is attempted, we find an unmovable finger obstinately pointing outside the subject, to the mind of the observer, to the Hindu scriptures, to God, or even only Gravitation? Would that not be very, very interesting? —John Bell

Reading some of these posts has led me to wonder how it is that these parallell universes come to exist. If they are worlds where each individual conscious being has made a different choice, then what caused the choices to be different? If what caused your choice to be different was someone else's choice, and what caused there choice was yet another's choice this leads one to a final conclusion, parallel universes can't be based upon the choice's of conscious beings that have been based on the choices of other conscious beings. They would always turn out the same. They would all be traced back to the first conscious beings original choice, and all future choices would turn out the same. The possibility of parallel universes comes into being when you realize that some choices concious beings make are based on random things in the universe. Only choices based on true randomness can yield different results, to think otherwise is the definition of insanity: to try the same thing over and over again in the exact same conditions and expect different results.
