Has anyone thought of making a treatise on Jedi...

I'm surprised as organized as TOJO is, there is not a collection of material on Jedi spiritual/physical practice yet. I see people like Mantak Chia. I see people study their own martial arts. What about a bunch of Jedi getting together to form a committee to set down an actual mode and method we can agree on as a jedi physical and spiritual practice. We have a code and references for spiritual guidance. Why not physical methods?

That's a fine idea. We're working on a book about Jediism right now. This is a subject that we may address. The working title is The Way of Jediism. Feel free to write a chapter to submit to the editors.

Maybe have video and illustrations to go along with parts of the manual. Being we are in the digital age! I would love to submit ideas if I can. However, in writing a full chapter, would like to co-ordinate with one of the editors (or any specific jedi who like to help). I'm new to the order and wouldn't presume to write literature for an order I am just now beginning to experience. I do have thoughts on the matter, though.

This is a book about Jediism, not TOTJO....

Although I can't give you what kinda criteria will be used in final selection....

It definitely can't be a candidate if it doesn't exist...

After Br. John's post in this thread, I started my chapter as well....

Hey I'm very interested in helping with your chapter, the physical aspect of Jediism has been an important one for me since I began down this path, and I feel like I may be able to help with this goal.

That is very interesting actually. Every other religion has physical and practicional beliefs. As my opinion, every town with a Jedist member should have Church of Jediism. I also think on solemn days, loss, memorial, remembrence, and any other day that applies to Jedist, should be a day for ALL Jedi to wear Ceremonial Jedi Robes.
This is a very interesting topic.

A hurdle is see, is trying to standardize a physical regime...

We are all here, because we didn't like others telling us how to believe...

I study (and teach) TKD, I'm overweight, we have members in wheelchairs, one who is blind, as well as other issues...

If your going to train your mind, then I agree we must find a way to do what we are able....

I definitely think it is an important topic, and in need of discussion....

It just may take some time, and lenghty discussion, this is why that original post is over a year old...

Many aspects need to be looked at, discussed, decided upon, and relooked at at a later time..

Not everyone will think the first copy is good, some will disagree, others agree....

The problem with writing anything down, is that they change again....
