Only 3 days left until you hit that final checkpoint!?
You got this, make sure to keep the good habit up and not combine smoking and drinking

I've also been working on breaking my smoking habit. I haven't smoked in a month, mostly because the cost is double here from where I used to live! great incentive, right?

You can do this! You've already come this far. :)

21 day frontier done,
3 months frontier
I'll post here rarely

still it's freaking hard to stop cravings when I'm bored and have nothing to do

it's easy to say - go meditate, but in my experience, meditation never gave such chemical amount of "fun"...

sport will save me. and, perhaps, drawing

You're doing well. The physical cravings should be nearing their end. The psychological ones however are the demons you will need to vanquish. The meditation shouldn't be a replacement but a tool to quiet the mind. The ego is stuck in the past and future and will not willing assist you. Focus on the now and stay productive. The quiet times are the dangerous times.

Failed, smoked half a pack. Threw out. Start again.

Lesson learned: smoking is my passive aggressive continuous suicide because I am against the social programming of the world I live in and that's negativity. I can deal with this negativity of me vs (my perceived image of) them in three ways

1) destroy myself via smoking
2) destroy others via agression, irritation, anger
3) destroy my weakness, my inability to persevere this world and stay solid and rocksteady

I raise the stakes with this insight and choose option 3.

Day 1.

From now on, I channel my wrath into sport and labor, not into inward or outward aggression.

WHARAHR.

That's a shame, but you didn't fail - you went 21 days without smoking. That's a great achievement!
