Haha! 2 weeks!
Today I've been drinking whiskey with colleagues after work and still haven't smoked. The body badly wanted to, of course. But - luminous being we are, ain't we?

Yesterday there was a crisis, a true trial of my principles, of my commitment.
Well, I didn't gave up because... Because I thought - even if everything is totally fucked up (and it was just very bad mood), I still have my dignity, honor of a Jedi - and smoking ain't Jedi way.
And so - I didn't smoke.
16 days over.
That's all for now, folks. j-D
background
I still have some unfinished business with depression and day-before-yesterday there was a small party at work. With alcohol, of course - it's Russia after all. My doctor told me that my antidepressant is mostly ~compatible with small amounts of alcohol. And I calculated this "small" wrong, so I felt bad physically and emotionally. Also, there was a long overdue spiritual crisis - a part of adaptation-after-main-depression-stuff. So, as you can see, yesterday was quite totally fucked up

This may sound stupid, but it worked for me when I quit over a year and a half ago.
I started to take "cigarette breaks" without the cigarette. I went outside, pretended to light a cigarette, and then pretended to smoke. I discovered what I really like about smoking was taking that moment off in which I focused purely on breathing and being in the moment. Minus the "death sticks", it really became a helpful habit

Thanks. I really still do take breaks - without cigarettes. Sometimes I just drink coffee at the balcony, sometimes I focus on the beads or eat ice-cream. That helps!

Still hard, day 18th. I feel down and out of other reasons and right now start recovering. Perhaps, then - when I start doing sport - it'll become easier.
Never gonna stop me
