Hiding
Afraid of what they'll think,
Afraid of what they'll say,
I hide behind this facade.
I've been doing this for so long,
I've been losing myself,
Hiding beneath this mask.
Don't know who I am anymore,
Don't know what to do,
I keep everything hidden away.
Searching for who I am,
Searching for happiness,
No longer do I wish to hide.
The end is in sight,
The end to all my sorrows,
I will hide no more.

I dont write often
this was my most recent
Yes i made more than my share
Of selfish stupid mistakes
And took more than was fair
In this give-game of Take
But you GROUND ME TO DUST
Betrayed every trust i ever did try to give and thats just a stone cold fact.
Now you call me a **tch
And you call me a beast
Of all the traps and the lies
And attacks ive survived
Foolish words oft heard
hurt me not in the least
And never again
Will you see me give in
And sacrafice pride on the alter of social tact
See shes terrific at torture
Made her a torturous teacher
Left me wanting my mother
and needing my preacher
And at the end of the day
I earnestly pray
Lord let this be a lesson truly LEARNED
Because vengeance IS cold
And PASSION runs HOT
And the body get old
But the BLOOD, maybe not
And the LOSER's the one thats always lost
But the FOOL is the one
Thats always returned

Why art thou silent and invisible,
Father of Jealousy?
Why dost thou hide thyself in clouds
From every searching eye?
Why darkness and obscurity
In all thy words and laws,
That none dare eat the fruit but from
The wily Serpent's jaws?
Or is it because secrecy gains females' loud applause?
Father of Jealousy?
Why dost thou hide thyself in clouds
From every searching eye?
Why darkness and obscurity
In all thy words and laws,
That none dare eat the fruit but from
The wily Serpent's jaws?
Or is it because secrecy gains females' loud applause?

Wrote this many yrs ago. Wouldnt write it now but i still have fond feelings ....
The devil wears a purple dress
flowing satin lace and silk
her fingers reaching
to caress
lovers
of gentle
vain
and violent ilk
She stands beneath the shining moon
As if a beacon in the night
Her only honest promise;
Doom.
Her each insinuation-delight

her fingers reaching

Ozymandias - Percy Shelley
I met a traveller from an antique land
Who said: Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert. Near them on the sand,
Half sunk, a shatter'd visage lies, whose frown
And wrinkled lip and sneer of cold command
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamp'd on these lifeless things,
The hand that mock'd them and the heart that fed.
And on the pedestal these words appear:
"My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:
Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!"
Nothing beside remains: round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare,
The lone and level sands stretch far away.

a new species of owl has been discovered
the wolf eating owl
he preys on wolves dressed in sheeps' clothing
he devours them whole
because they are all knowing
yet, the wolf eating owl, they never knew or even looked at
until he lay them down upon the Earth
as scat

The Man in the Glass - Peter Dale Wimbrow Sr
When you get what you want in your struggle for self
And the world makes you king for a day
Just go to the mirror and look at yourself
And see what that man has to say.
For it isn't your father, or mother, or wife
Whose judgment upon you must pass
The fellow whose verdict counts most in your life
Is the one staring back from the glass.
He’s the fellow to please – never mind all the rest
For he’s with you, clear to the end
And you've passed your most difficult, dangerous test
If the man in the glass is your friend.
You may fool the whole world down the pathway of years
And get pats on the back as you pass
But your final reward will be heartache and tears
If you've cheated the man in the glass.

Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there mAy be in zilense.
As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit.
If you compare yourself to others, you may become vain and bitter; for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your acheivements as well as your plans.
Keep interested in your career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Excersize caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery.
But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals; and everywhere life is full of heroism.
Be yourself. Especially; do not feign affection.
Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment, it is as perennial as the grass.
Take kindly, the counsel of the years. Gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture Strength of Spirit to shield you in times of sudden misfortune.
But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fatigues are born of fears and lonliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself.
You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it os clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore, be at peace with God, Whatever You Concieve him To Be.
And whatever your labours and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life life, keep peace in your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world.
Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.
