I investigated Ventrilo as a better VoIP for us and it's private compared to Teamspeak. For either of these to work only a headset gives the best sound unless you keep your mike close and your speakers low - otherwise echo echo echo ech ec e .

Is the new CHAT OK or do you want the old one back?

If the masters and teaching knights posted times on the calendar would you try and make the live chat?

Could you volunteer one single hour a week to be ON DUTY in the chat so we can ALWAYS have a Jedi online?

I bet when you were knew that would have been nice.

I believe, in accordance with my earlier comment on the Jedi Teamspeak article, that Ventrilo is a MUCH better service and is quite cheap to get a dedicated server for, i always go with www.clanservers.com, I have a lot of experience administrating ventrilo servers

Well, i like the idea of keeping someone in chat. which is why i was so upset to see it gone. When i would get on here i would pop in there until people started showing up, then i would chill with them until i had to get off. Once i even got around 6 people to stay in there long enough for the evening crowd to show. But i usually can only get on on the weekend but i don't know when i will work next so, anyway.

I like the idea of having a time for the master and apprentice to be online. Could we give a transcription of em? What I am trying to ask, is if I miss one, can I read what happened.

I would like to see this happen. It would be a supplement for the apprentices lessons, and a chance for us to really get to know each other. Just a thought.

In reference to what Kieran said...it could be EASILY applied that each master has his own channel (private and password protected) to teach his apprentice, I believe it would add in and of itself a new personal level of training that isn't achievable over the interweb
