Yet you are a licensed minister? A Bishop should have conducted a ceremony before your clergy rank was changed. What happened?

I couldn't make it that day (due to a class being reschedule, I think), and V-Tog told me she would try and reschedule it. She never did.
I only mention it because I'm not sure how imperative it is that we hold the ceremony.

The licenced minister position is not yet 'ordained' and thus no ordination ceremony by a Bishop is necessary. When you are knighted, there will most likely be an ordination ceremony immediately after your knighting ceremony.
That is how it worked with me.

Why would it not be imperative?
It is an important day and we should celebrate.

hahaha. I wasn't trying to be all "I DIDN'T GET MY CEREMONY, GIVE IT TO ME!!!"
I just wanted it to be on record that it didn't happen. Because I care about things being accurate. lol.

An ordination ceremony must be done by a bishop by (US)law... But licensed ministers must go through a ceremony as well (here anyway). not only is it a symbol of them joining clergy, but one does not simply automatically become clergy upon completion of the training programme. What seals the deal is the ceremony. After which the rank change is to be done.

Funny though, I don't remember either Sajjad or Darren having a ceremony ...
... and I was never a licensed minister.
Nevertheless, the clergy ranking and duties associated to those are the first item on tomorrow's meeting agenda ; we'll discuss that then.

Neither was I, because I was a Knight I was simply just promoted straight to Deacon (though that shouldn't be the sole reason to skip Licensed Minister)
