*sighs* There is but two problems still to be solved if we are to have a real laser bladed lightsaber.
1. The power source.
How would we power something like this and keep it portable? I've got some ideas for it, but I'm still doing my own research, and will keep them to myself.
2. Forcing the laser to remain at a set point.
You would need one hell of an energy field to bend it back upon itself to go to a secondary contact, which could serve to power itself as a battery, in theory. What types of energy would bend light back in this manner?
