Asides from that, I don't really. If a story is big enough than the people at work or who live near me will be talking about it a lot, so I get it from them then google it.

So I guess my non comedic (though sometimes it is) news source would be people, haha

I sort of look at twitter for journo's on the ground, and then try and get a feel for live reporting, otherwise as many different points of view possible - compared against my own knowledge. I've found that the things I know a lot about are 'terribly' reported in the media, so if they make a massive mess with the stuff I know.... I guess they make a mess with most other stuff as well.

I don't think there is any actual unbiased single media source, perhaps we need a Jedi news outlet. I think the problem then is the journalists are not actually subject matter experts, and the subject matter experts are usually professional because they've acquiesced to supporting some biased position.
