The little town I live in has a yearly celebration with live music. I can't honestly say it would count as a "fest", but they have a different band play every year.
Last year was Vertical Horizon. We've had The Spin Doctors, Patty Loveless, The Kentucky Headhunters, and Eddie Money - just to name a few. They're not people I would have chosen to see on my own (though Verticle Horizon was really good!) but it's quite a bit of fun.
I'm still trying to talk them into getting Joan Jett one year.. :dry:
