Do You Fest?

Every year for about 5 years I've said 'next year I'm going to Rock Am Ring' and I still haven't. I've been to Download festival which is held here in England, however, to see Korn, Marilyn Manson, Devildriver etc (it's been a while since I last went).
This year I'm finally having a holiday, but I drove the length of the country to see Rammstein last year which is good enough for me.
It won't let me have a blank signature ...

I like to go with other people who allow me the freedom to wander off on my own. I find it can actually be quite limiting to stick with other people the whole way through as inevitably you don't get to see everything that you want to see. But equally, it gets lonely without company, so I like a good balance.

* Bands include Symphony X, Rhapsody of Fire, Edguy, Masterplan, Nightwish, Kamelot, and Dark Moor.
But in general, I do not like big sweaty crowds of people.

There's a good amount of crossover rave --> fest… try it out, you might like it

The last few years I've been to Hard Rock Calling in London, because Bruce was playing.
I've also been to Reading, V, Latitude, Great Escape, Hop Farm and countless small ones. I even helped put on the Luton Love Music Hate Racism festival a few years back, that was a lot of fun. Working with some really weird genres.
I love them. They're a great environment for discovering something new, and in my opinion the bigger the festival, the more likely you'll find something really special. One of my favourite things about Glastonbury was always the circus tent - some of the things I got to see in there were truly mind-boggling... and no, I hadn't "partaken" (well.. not always )
