What if someone is a racist and refuses help from a Jedi on those grounds? Should the Jedi try to 'blend in' to appease the prejudices of the racist? Or is it the Jedi's fault the racist refuses that help?
Right to you both....
I have had a lady roll up her window when I have stopped on the highway to check on a stranded motorist... Which, no matter how I look, she should do as she didnt know me... She talked to me through the crack she left in the window...
Be yourself, but, dont be offended if you the intended party refuses your help, lol... Sometimes what your appearance represents to them is scarier than the actual situation...
You can always call the police, and watch from a safe distance to make sure they are ok, and get in no further trouble...
But, if I want to be able to help the most amount of people, then appearance is important...
Yes Adder, I wore a mask as an exterminator... It is called a 'fit test', to make sure the mask fits, and seals right, and tight...
On walk-about...

It's just how society works, doesn't make it right or wrong, just how it is.

Who is at fault? The person who chooses to dress in a way that makes them happy or the person who refuses help from someone because they don't like the look of them?
What if they refuse help from a homosexual?
People should not be forced to 'blend in' to be who they are, it is those with prejudice that are at fault.
Assume "REASONABLE PERSON"- a reasonable person will not accept help from a bum on the street. Someone that is racist is not really a reasonable person, IMHO. If you dress as a gay person from one of those conventions, then yeah I could see why no one would accept help from you- you look like someone that is wrapped up in their own world rather than experiencing the world, so why should they believe you have anything to offer?
Appearances, sadly, are everything- that's how people judge you. Doesn't make it right.
