A Jedi's Book. was created by
Hello ladies and gentlemen.

This may have been discussed earlier but I was just thinking of having a Jedi's book.
I was just sitting and cleared my mind, then POW. it just came into my head.
This book would have a Jedi's quick guide i.e.
-Appearance
1. Hair style
2. Facial hair
3. Tattoos
4. Jewellery

-Death in service
(what happens when we die, any certain practices to be carried out)

-Items
Such as a Kirpan. (a ceremonial dagger to remind Sikhs of their duty to fight against evil).

I have been looking around to see what else we could use in this book.
I just wanted to get it in the form so people could think about it and add to this work in progress.

any ideas?

What you suggest here would make it a very short book...

1. Doesn't matter
2. Doesn't matter
3. Doesn't matter
4. Doesn't matter

-Death (in terms of what rituals you want, maybe organ donation but apart from that it is personal preference)

-Items: Personal Preference

That tends to be why we focus on the doctrine and stuff, then we let everyone interpret that and fulfil it in their own way... :)

I understand what you mean though

You question is not a stupid one to ask. Many people ask it because many church's demand it. But we do not here :)

Not a bad question at all....:)

Many folks want to know these questions...

I'm mobile, but ruggad just made a little "book" that was just awesome...

The time may come where some Jedi will require it...

But we for not...

Would someone link ruggad's book thread?

Well it sort of matters, but it boils down to: Presentable, respectable and blends in with the community. Which varies by culture, and does not require professional. Basically, the only reason it matters is because you can't really help a community that doesn't want help from someone that looks like they can't help....

It's just how society works, doesn't make it right or wrong, just how it is.

Crikey.... but it made me remember reading that to 'properly' fit an oxygen mask you cannot have facial hear. I think its a requirement of being a firefighter for example.
