Jedi Workout
During my web search I discovered convict conditioning and then the insane world of calisthenics / street workout. I was blown away by what I was seeing on You Tube.
Anyway to cut a long story short, I stopped running and free weights and have only been doing body weight. In 6 months I can now do 3-5 consecutive muscle ups, started working on planches, levers and flags. Back and knee pain is gone. Dropped about 10kg, BP is better than half my age. Biological clock is dropped by about 25 years (I’m 50). Can now do 20 strict pull-ups and a hundred push-ups in one hit. 6 pack forming and got muscles I never knew existed.
If anyone had shown me this stuff 10 years ago I would’ve grabbed it. Just regret not finding it sooner.
Best thing, quit the Gym membership and train for free at the local park. Never get bored, you are pushing the physical and mental boundaries all the time, doing stuff you thought was impossible a year ago.
Anyway good thread and thanks for the extra resource.

Did you do one round of x number of reps for the warm up?
Did you just do the Jedi one or did you kinda mix it up a little?
Also i am glad people knew what i meant when i said mess with it as a warm up to other fitness and or martial arts classes/practice sessions.

I did one round of the Jedi work out before class, we do the normal stretching and such during the beginning of class. To cool down I kinda mixed it up a bit an did about double the suggested reps so i got a little burn. I also have to say depending on what you're tolerance out if you throw a good plate i was just using 25lbs for now on these they can make a decent quickly if you don't have time to get into the gym.
