I meditate every morning after showering, and have recently started incorporating it every night before sleep. I'm reaching a point where meditation states are getting easier to reach for me. It's taken a lot of conditioning to be able to focus but I'm slowly getting there. I have so much to do and a long way to go still, though. The journey never stops.

I'll have my eggs fried with rice, please.

My regular scrambeled eggs take but a few minuts, and on any given ocasion depending on the muse present a ray of veggies on avalibility are scrambeled in with, still minuts and no reason to take more than needed till...

m.f.k. fisher boasts her "take about a half hour to prepare and they are worth waiting for."

First warm a skillet...yea large heavy, add sweet buter in a heavy pan, then adds some cream and breaks the egg into this "gentle puddle." she stirs the eggs very carfullyand slowly with a spoon,"gradually pulling in the sides as they cook." she must keep the heat very low, because after half an hour she claims, the finished eggs are "lightly blended and set...in large soft curds."
She calls her technique a "dreamy prosess," and i agree.
I am a believer in the chinese proverb "working with hands frees the mind for other things"
Her recipie is a guided meditation in action I have come to use, May the living Force live in you!

How do you incorporate meditation in your every day?
How do you take your eggs?
cant wait to see...

I meditate in the mornings and sometimes in the evening aswell , i do guided meditation once a week , this takes 2 hours almost but is very good ! I get up earlier to meditate if i have a very busy day.

If I gotta go into town I'll just have scrambled egg's, and a coffee.... but if I don't I add 2 (eggs) to 5/6 cup corn flour and 1/4 cup coconut flour, a bit of water (tiny amount), mix with a half a teaspoon of bicarb, then cook in a pan of hot oil.
They turn out like crumpets, except a bit thinner!! Add them to a plate of scrambled eggs and a bit of honey over the lot
:cheer:

I meditate in the evenings to unwind from the day. My goal is to begin doing it in the morning too to set the tone. The Jedi Path states you should meditate 5 times a day, minimum.
I hard boil the whole dozen eggs so I can eat them immediately during the week.

Amplifying instructions for my previous post at #221750 , now that I've done it a few times:

- Water turns out to be about 1/2 a cup, added progressively.

I have a stage 1, which is the two flours and water only.
Mix that until it forms a hard (yet slightly moist) cake.
Only half of that is required for a breakfast (large 1 person, small 2 person). I only use half, as mentioned as I also have scrambled eggs.
So I cut it in half, and stick one half in the fridge for tomorrow morning, and go onto prepare the other half to eat.

So if theory I could spend my Sunday making a few loads and fridging it.

Then its quite simply;
1. remove from fridge
2. add an egg
3. mix
4. consistency might be perfect at that point, but may need a tiny (1/2 teaspoon or so) of water added
5. add bicarb (half original instruction, since its half)
6. cook!

I've dubbed them "Crumplets", since they look like pikelets but taste like crumpets when honey is drizzled.

As a fairly recent convert to meditation, I've been mostly doing it late at night in the hour or so before bed. I find it does settle my mind (sometimes imperceptibly) allowing me to get to sleep more quickly. I've also noted an overall improvement in my sleep quality...I've even slept through for a full 6.5 hours a couple of times. I typically have very fragmented sleep, so this is definitely a positive side effect for me. I have tried doing it at different times of the day just to see what kind of effect it could have, but I've decided if I do that, I'm going to limit those meditations to 10-15 minutes maximum. Moving forward, I think that might change. I've already noticed a net benefit to both my overall mood and productivity, just from meditating as part of my 100 days of discipline, and I am hopeful that continues.

As for my eggs, I don't eat a lot of them, but I recently discovered a fun way to prepare them. I don't think this would work with eggs that are too firm and too together. I used up the last three and was going to scramble them, but decided I would try to flip them. When I tilted the pan, the yolks really bulged to the sides and so I decided I would just jiggle the pan to watch the yolk bulges wiggle around. It became a fun game. I giggled to myself. They were so cute. I think I had the hula song going through my head. Anyway, what ended up happening is that I let the whites set as a nice solid layer, then I jiggled the yolks free to create a yolk layer on top of the white, and I kept jiggling and rotating the pan so that I had full coverage. Once the edges set, then I flipped it to harden the yolk. So one side was white, the other side was yolk. They tasted like eggs, and I came up with the most creative name ever for them: Jiggled Eggs If you're really bored, you might want to try it.
