It is always my hope to build and never tare down, that being said i am a Jedi every where, even my kithen, ESPESIALLY in my kitchen, i would love to share with every one and hope to see what comes from it

My regular scrambeled eggs take but a few minuts, and on any given ocasion depending on the muse present a ray of veggies on avalibility are scrambeled in with, still minuts and no reason to take more than needed till...

m.f.k. fisher boasts her "take about a half hour to prepare and they are worth waiting for."

First warm a skillet...yea large heavy, add sweet buter in a heavy pan, then adds some cream and breaks the egg into this "gentle puddle." she stirs the eggs very carfullyand slowly with a spoon,"gradually pulling in the sides as they cook." she must keep the heat very low, because after half an hour she claims, the finished eggs are "lightly blended and set...in large soft curds."
She calls her technique a "dreamy prosess," and i agree.
I am a believer in the chinese proverb "working with hands frees the mind for other things"
Her recipie is a guided meditation in action I have come to use, May the living Force live in you!

How do you incorporate meditation in your every day?
How do you take your eggs?
cant wait to see...

Meditation EVERYDAY: still something I need to work on.

Eggs: poached. Get a deep pan, fill with water and let it simmer, add a drop of vinegar and stir water to create a 'whirlpool', then drop egg in. Leave for a minute and spoon out. Vinegar and 'whirlpool' helps keep the egg together so you don't have to use those awful cobbler things :)

I usually meditate almost every day in the afternoon and shortly in the morning.
Depending on the circumstances, i usually manage to do some walking meditation if i never did any morning meditation

Eggs? Hm.. It's not my strong side

meditation during work makes the tedious much more bearable. it's particularly easy for me to do during "busy work" like filing paperwork.

Eggs: Soft boiled 4minutes 30 seconds, smeared on buttered toast with a pinch of salt. yummy...

I'm an omelet man myself. 3 eggs and 2 yolks. fill with yummy veggies like onion and mushroom and pepper. no cheese... gotta watch the calories ;) top it all off with a bit of salsa.. yum!

As for meditation, I do it every day - 30 minutes minimum. Usually right after work to decompress from the day so I can greet my wife in a happy and healthy mood so we can enjoy our evening. No need to carry that stress of the day into the evening when your suppose to be enjoying life!

Often times I will meditate while I shower in the bathroom with a few candles and no other light and some soft music. The hot water and dark atmosphere with that soft music puts you in the perfect mood. My dog usually comes with me and meditates too. He needs a quiet time from the cats! :silly:

I had a group that I meditated with online for a while until recently. I really miss them. I've been sampling different apps on my phone, trying out different things, but nothing really compares with having living people to meditate *with*, you know? I have trouble focusing, and that really helps me.

I've always had a problem with the idea of eggs. Even the ones produced locally on farms where the animals are happy... just the idea of taking something from an animal's reproductive system and *consuming it* grosses me out. I guess I'm pretty much alone in that, lol. I certainly don't have a problem with other people doing whatever they want, it's just something I can't get my head around xD

Morning meditations? Not so much....My day starts with an alarm at 6am followed by chaos as I try to get my two daughters off to school and husband off to work

I do my meditations at night time just before going to sleep. Often listening to : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ST56ATKfgfs

Eggs....eggs....depends on my mood. When I do eat eggs, Scrambled and wrapped in a tortilla shell with cheese and salsa

I try to cook my eggs different every time. This morning sauteed: mushrooms, left over pan fried quartered brussel sprouts, and chick peas in bacon fat and olive oil served with with salsa on top.

I couldn't possibly stir slowly cook eggs for a half hour on an empty stomach.

That is one of the joys of cooking for me. :)

My meditation happens at night when I'm winding down from the rest of my day. I start with a cup of tea. Then I sit of an afghan prayer rug and drape a blanket over my shoulders because I'm in a room that has a lot of delicate electronics. Electronic things don't like a lot of heat. I reeaallly enjoy where I meditate because it's in a more confined area, the machinery and air conditioning units are very noisy, and its full of tiny distractions. I feel like this only sharpens my focus like adding resistance bands to a workout. But say one night I'm not feeling it I'm a ten foot walk away from the beautiful moonlight, more stars than most people have ever seen, and the salty air blowing past my face filled with the calming sounds of the ocean crashing against the hull of my ship. As for my eggs, it's not exactly my high point in the day. I eat the same eggs every morning artificial eggs from a carton scrambled with ham and what I can only assume is cheese. and a tall glass of ultra high temperature processed milk... It sounds bad, because it is bad. It's aweful.
