Jedi teaching Number Five says this." Jedi comprehend that we are beings of thought, feeling, and will, who flourish within the Force through self-aware action and lifelong learning. "
Good morning, Jedi everywhere.
Today is Start of the New year!
Happy holidays and May the Force be with you all, wherever you may be.
Today's teaching is Teaching number 5.
Good day Jedi.
Jedi teaching 5
There are 3 parts to it if you like to think about it as such.
Now, as a human we have parts.
When I say parts, I mean we are beings of thought, feeling and will.
So, my encouragement today is this...
Do you know your own thoughts and where they come from? Do you know how humans think and why? Do you know how you do it?
Have you ever over-thought something?
Do you know your own feelings, and which are which? Have you taken time to take a course or a study on the development of your own feelings? Have you had the time you need with them? Do you understand them?
Do you understand your will and the will of other humans? Where does the will come from? Where does your will come from?
These 3 ideas are not small.
We as humans are thought, feelings and will.
It can take some time to understand these ideas and even more time to get to a place of balance.
Knowing who we are and what we are can help.
We are humans.
Jedi are humans.
This human thing is the tightest and most connection we have with one another. We are bound by this one thing. We are inherently equal.
We are human.
By this, we are more than just one part.
Do remember this Jedi, in the week to come. We are parts. We are complex. We need time to understand even ourselves.
Take some time to understand this.
You will be more aware and flourish in the Force.
What could you do if you were more aware of things?
Would anyone ever think or ask for more understanding? I hope so.
I hope THIS is one of our collective goals as Jedi.
I hope you want to understand more in life and in your own circles of life.
Jedi teaching 5 does this very thing.
Jedi teaching Number Five says this." Jedi comprehend that we are beings of thought, feeling, and will, who flourish within the Force through self-aware action and lifelong learning. "
We are beings of thought.
We are beings of feelings.
We are beings of will.
Train yourself to understand more.
The balance we have is where our attention goes sometimes.
Edification is not easy.
It takes work and effort but mostly understanding.
We can focus on most anything we like.
Start this year with YOU and knowing what needs attention.
May the Force be with you.

The Vanishing Virtue
A reading of Jedi teaching 6 is available in the Discord room Pastors room.
Jedi teaching number 6 states: The Jedi practise humility. Jedi know that we are processes in The Force and exist within its cycles of creativity and renewal. The more we practise humility, the more open we become to insights of wisdom which come to us through our feeling of the Force.
Good day Jedi- one of the things we as Jedi share is the idea that we can return to ideas like humility.
Humility is often called the" Vanishing Virtue. "
So today- this morning- the vanishing virtue is here!
As Jedi, there can be a spirit about us.
When we reflect or meditate, we can often fall into the pit of the ego or the selfish if we are not carful.
The joke, " Look at what I did " or " look what I can do ..." comes into mind.
But it is perfectly natural to want the attention for things.
It is human.
So, we are reminded that this exists.
In short, as Jedi, we are reminded to practice humility.
As Jedi, do Jedi get haughty and prideful??
Yup.
This one does.
If we are not careful, the ego can get the best of us Jedi any old day.
It is amazing the things we do and share here.
In that, we can tend to get a bit too much or a bit too far out there with our own " at-a- boys" or our own achievements.
There are healthy ways to express achievements and even zeal.
Zeal is a real thing.
It can often be leading in our own development as humans.
So, Jedi are reminded to have humility.
There is a renewal and a refreshing flow or ebb that exist in things like this.
Bt it's not common.
To be present, can be a goal every Jedi has.
To even understand humility- it helps to be present.
Some say humility is about you, not yourself.
C s Lewis said humility isnt thinking less of yourself, its thinking of yourself, less.
Modern psychology reminds us that this particular virtue is one that's not easy but is very healthy for us.
Humility is the quality of being humble, which means being free from pride or arrogance.
It entails not taking our desires, successes, or failings too seriously.
In this, we find what we seek.
I leave you with these 3 questions.
How do I develop myself without thinking of myself?
Do you put your interest above others?
How do I develop this trait?
How does one do this? How do we become humble without being haughty?
This is the idea that within this cycle or this flow... dwells the secret.
In our strive, we can locate.
It is good that we make the effort.
It is good we reflect.
Some days, my own meditations take me to places I already am. The best place they can take me is the present moment.
NOW is the moment that matters.
It is the "now" that is the idea and the game changer.
Where do I stand, now or today?
Want a fresh perspective on things and on life?
Practice humility.
That means find out what it is by doing it.
Seek out those who know about it and are willing to share.
This is where mentors come in to play and this is where we...ask others.
Making the ever famous " humble pie" is the one thing I know I can never truly make but only be with.
It is the most frustrating thing, but you can never BE HUMBLE - it must be free flowing and untouched by humans most time.
If it has intentions, it's not humbled or humility.
So, we ask that you let the balance and the flow...exist.
Know it's there.
We are processes in the Force.
We are the containers of what's inside.
We simply describe the same thing differently.
It is our perspective that often creates the motion of our zeal.
If we practice a few things...
We can get the hang of things.
Jedi are smart.
There are no two ways about it.
Yet, we tend to know this.
Jedi feel the Force yet, we tend to know this.
There is a statement from the movies I do like to keep around....
Yoda states and reminds others " Too sure of themselves..."
"Even the older, more experienced ones."
This is not far from the truth or reality.
As we get older, we do more. We find out more. We as Jedi validate our paths and our information.
In this flow and ebb...
We can get a bit full of our own self's.
Be careful Jedi.
Know that this happens.
The opposite of humility is often... pride.
The opposite spectrum of humility is taking all the credit for everything.
The more we practice ideas like this, the more we can understand more.
There is so much more out there than just being selfish.
We can find the wisdom we seek in the virtues we develop.
Being "open" is a secret to humility.
So, being closed is the common default.
Open yourself to humility.
Open yourself to the Force.
The more we practice, the more we notice, then the more aware we are.
How do Jedi do this? Be open to the Force?
The Force exist within its cycles of creativity and renewal.
It has a flow all in itself.
The Force has a return of its own.
We enter into it.
We remember it.
We become aware of it.
To the Force and to knowledge.
The more we are aware of, the better we can have understanding.
It is the understanding we seek.
It is hard to understand that you tell Jedi - go and seek and find that which you look for and then tell them to be humble about it.
It does work.
Reminders and teaching are here to AID us in our Jedi path.
Seek out humility.
It is a Jedi's defense against, well, themselves.
Jedi teaching 6 : The Jedi practise humility. Jedi know that we are processes in The Force and exist within its cycles of creativity and renewal. The more we practise humility, the more open we become to insights of wisdom which come to us through our feeling of the Force.
The Force is amazing, always.
The Force is terrible, amazing yet, terrible in ways we cannot understand.
The potential is this...
If it is in the realm of human possibility, it can be done.
This means we can become as Icarus and fly too high or too low at any given moment.
There is a balance that exist you cannot create.
I can not
We can only live in it,
or dwell in the moment
To be present, is a gift.
it is a gift we can develop.
and we can remind others that they can be present as well.
Want more bang for your buck this year or need a reminder to get back to it?
Jedi practice humility
Practice it. Find those who are examples.
By doing this, you enter into the present moment and the present flow or ebb of the Force.
Become a part of the Ebb and Flow of the Force and remove the "Carlos" from the equation or the "you" from it.
Practice
Thats all we really ask and remind others.
Practice by NOT practicing.
Sounds counterproductive but for this vanishing virtue, it's not.
Understand we have our own thought, feelings, and will...
we can release those and become one with what is present.
The Force is always present.
Be present and you will find it.
Be humble and you will find it.
Try too hard and you will lose it - that easy.
So, wow, today this week-
Practice humility.
Find those who do and sit in that circle for bit.
See what you can pick up.
Thank you to and for those who are live.
Thank you for sharing a Monday morning with me.

Good day Jedi everywhere. May the Force be with you wherever you may be today.
A recording of the teaching can be found in the "Pastor's room" in our Discord section.
The Jedi foster an acceptance of limitations. To change the world is to change our perceptions of and perspectives towards it. Indeed, we are capable of amazing acts, especially when we rely on the flow of the Force. Yet, as incarnated, organic beings we must understand that the power is that of the Force, without which we are mere matter.

Good day and morning Jedi everywhere.
May the Force be with you, wherever you may be today.
Today's meditation is on Jedi teaching number seven.
Today's three questions are as follows ...
* Do you embrace change?
* Do you compare yourself to others?
* Do you hold a grudge?
We as Jedi are human and live in the ordinary world.
To change the world, we change our perceptions and perspectives.
There is only one thing we can change as humans. Perception is what we make of the world based on our experience.
And perspective is how we look at the world after reflecting on our perception.
So, the perception of your reality controls your perspective. A person’s perceptions are their own and may or may not be accurate, but that doesn’t matter because it influences their perspective.
There is a "magic" or an ebb and flow to things.
How we see things matters.
How do you see things friends and Jedi?
It is my hope that today, you see the limits but also the abilities and possibilities.
Our perspective is as a small fire.
It can be used to pilot many fires and many ideas.
It can be used to create or destroy.
Things can be used to build up or tear down.
In our reflections, we ask, how does our perception and/or perspectives change; how do we gain control of them? Do we ever gain control of our perspective?
"The process of perspective taking may be the most crucial communication process to an organization’s success." A Center for Effective Organizations study by Richard J. Boland Jr. Psychology Today
HOW - we see things matters.
It changes everything.
So today and every day, know your limits.
Understand them.
Have a fresh perspective.
That is the only thing you can change.
But do be careful how you do it.
Changing perspectives, changes everything.
We are able to do this. People do it all the time.
It is my hope that as you continue to study and learn, you find that which you seek. If it is the Force you seek, I hope you realize or understand that it is "Indeed, we are capable of amazing acts, especially when we rely on the flow of the Force. Yet, as incarnated, organic beings we must understand that the power is that of the Force, without which we are mere matter."
Indeed, we are capable of amazing acts.
As Jedi, we try to give it back or understand that there is a flow about things we have no control over. There is a connection that binds us ever closer than ever could ever claim to.
So, I ask these three questions for reflection.
What is your perception change?
What is your perspective about yourself?
What is your perspective on those who you deem "deserving?" (When holding a grudge)
Where do these ideas come from and how do they shape you as a Jedi?
We are amazing. Jedi still amaze me.
I am here all day for questions or comments.

Today is Jedi teaching number 8
"The Jedi practise patience. All creation and renewal in the flow of the Force, all the wonder and terror of its processes, arise and dissolve in eternity – the present moment, the now. With the practice of acceptance and patience, Jedi have the tenacity to attend with curiosity to the phenomena in our experience which proceed one from another, ad infinitum."
Jedi practice patience.
The now is amazing.
The now is almost "terrible" in some ways.
The way life moves is large and vast.
Life has a way of happening without our consent.
But this is part of life, its vastness and its huge possibility.
Life is amazing.
Worry, will get you.
Fear, will get you.
They can and they will. Life has no regard for whether you are Jedi or not.
We do not get a special pass during life. Jedi live in the ordinary world.
Now, I would love to teach every Jedi I know, about patience.
It's one of those things you cannot teach but is best if you experience it. Patience only comes from practicing it, when it is needed. Be ready to use it, when its time. To practice patience, it must be ready to be given away or used.
How to be more patient:
Here are a few ways that you can practice patience.
Listen more.
Improve your listening skills. Repeat what was said in conformation during your communication.
I cannot tell you how many times I have practiced this. It tends to bring new light or new attention to things that can matter at the current moment. Knowing what is recent and acknowledging it, can help to identify things, much more.
Listen more, talk less.
We tend to notice our impatience when we are the one doing ALL the talking or the ego takes over.
It happens.
There are things you cannot change in life. Accept them as that.
Not everything in life can be changed or needs to change. Take some time to realize which is which. Ask.
This is where it helps to have mentors and Training Masters.
Find people you trust and can confirm things with. Some things you will not be able to change.
I cannot change who my parents are, nor can I change where I was born and what was available to me at the time of my birth.
What I can change is where I go to get my aid, or guidance.
Here are a few things you cannot change.
-Not everyone will be pleased with you
-The past
-Our mortality
-The weather
These things are run by, well, not me.
I have no say in these types of things, most time. No one really does.
Accept them.
I know I used to get "bent out of shape" during reflection when I came to a time when I thought everyone just ignored me and left me on my own. Some of the things you find in reflection can be upsetting.
I often tell others; there are things like location and availability that we cannot control, until we can.
There will come a time when you can change these things.
Practice mindfulness.
Live in the present moment as often and as frequently as you can.
Life has a tendency to create worry about the future or the past.
We, as humans, can often think - what about tomorrow or yesterday and we are no longer in the present moment. I am just as human as you are.
Choose to pick what you add to yourself.
Choose your books and your study. Make a point to pay attention to what goes into your mind, body and spirit.
Be mindful of you.
Slow down.
Jedi, I will tell you this, I have a tendency to want to rush things.
I may be the only one.
I want to encourage you as Jedi to slow down.
We practice patience and that takes time and time to practice it. That takes being in moments when its needed. Give or use what you know.
Make it a point to try it.
Slow down some days. Not in everything but do know what and where you could benefit from this reminder.
Now, we get to the meat and potatoes.
What makes you impatient? Do you know where your limits are, and your triggers?
Call it ugly if you like but when does impatience rear its ugly head in your path and story? Does it LORD over you or control you to a point you know it needs attention?
Do you know what pushes your buttons? Do you know when you run out of grace?
Where is that location of your " wits end?"
Know it exists.
As we read and try to understand each teaching, I do hope this one "sings" to our inside.
"With the practice of acceptance and patience, Jedi have the tenacity to attend with curiosity..."
Let it flow and let some things go.
I have to work at patience.
I am not a naturally patient person but THAT is how I was initially brought up. It was not till later in life I understood the value of patience in a different way.
I am naturally a reactive person, ready and willing to say, "Put me in coach, I am ready now," but I have found that some days and most days I get and experience much more from being patient.
I can share it too.
Seek thee out those who ARE patient.
How do we learn patience from someone who never has time or is rarely patient in real life? It does make it impossible at times.
And, to top it off, we cannot teach something we do not know ourselves.
With patience, it is kind of obvious, huh?
Learn from those who have it.
I promise you, those who display and nurture these types of ideas will give them away in an instant.
They always tend to say yes and make the time.
So today, this Monday ....
Practice patience.
Here are three questions for reflection about it, if you like or choose.
Am I a patient person?
Do I live in the NOW?
Do I practice patience?
For reflection you can add the "How" to those as well.
Keep a journal.
Use your journal to write things like this down.
It can be digital or old school.
There is a power and a presence in writing things down.
Practice / get in it.
My grandmother used to sing me this song:
"Have patience, have patience, don't be in such a hurry. When you get impatient, you only start to worry. Remember, remember, that Gods are patient too... and think of all the times when others had to wait for you."
May the Force be with you all.
Ask.

A reading of Jedi teaching number nine is located in the Discord section of the "Pastors Rooms " if you like.
Good morning and good day Jedi everywhere.
May the Force be with you where ever you may be.
Thank you for taking time to do this.
Waking and studying is not easy.
Waking and listening or paying attention isn't my forte either.
I normally have to take notes.
Today's subject is -
Integrity
The symbolism we often use as Jedi is that of the Knight.
The Jedi Knight.
The Knight is the symbol.
This symbol in itself stands for integrity.
The Knight stands for a given charge.
As Jedi, we are reminded we can be bringers of love and pardon.
We are bringers of faith and hope.
We are keepers of light and joy.
Our Creed as Jedi
The Creed
I am a Jedi, an instrument of peace;
Where there is hatred I shall bring love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
And where there is sadness, joy.
I am a Jedi.
I shall never seek so much to be consoled as to console;
To be understood as to understand;
To be loved as to love;
For it is in giving that we receive;
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
The Force is with me always, for I am a Jedi.
Creed adopted from the Prayer of St. Francis of Assisi, author unknown, 1915.
This brings me to today's point - Integrity.
Without integrity, what brand of peace, love, pardon, hope, light and joy are we brining?
Integrity is everything for a Knight.
Any Knight really.
What do you stand for and will you fail in your charge?
This is a ... key...
Integrity is what gives things their gas or their fuel.
If you lack it, well, no one trust you.
Can a Knight be untrustworthy?
yup
I can be untrustworthy to a point you will no longer want to connect with me.
It is safe to say that the opposite of integrity or the lack of it brings doubt.
Doubt is a killer.
If you like, what do you doubt in your path? Who do you doubt? Do others doubt your word? Are you trustworthy or do you have integrity?
For a Knight, to be trustworthy is a common goal.
A Knight in any Order really is the symbol of the flow of the Order and its goals.
Can you be counted on?
As a Jedi?
One of the things I want to remind all Jedi is to FOSTER the awareness of how we are connected.
Think and give time to our connections.
So, this Monday, here are 3 questions for reflection if you like.
* What type of integrity do I have as a Jedi?
* Do I maintain the actual connection of life or some make believe idea?
* Do I understand my limitations of my own integrity?
I hope that each time we meet, we grow.
It is my hope that we as Jedi grow as Jedi
Yoked together in our strive.
We as Jedi, have reminders.
The Jedi maintain integrity, our individuated wholeness. We practise to foster the awareness of our interconnection with all other phenomena, thus ensuring authenticity in our interactions with others and our capacity to accept our limitations and those in interaction with us.
There are unauthentic interactions as well.
To know which is why we remind one another of our shared goals.
Be Jedi
Practice
Do or do not, there is no try
Life is like this.
Know and accept the limitations each of us have.
When no one is around, be Jedi
When no one is aware, maintain your integrity
Be trustworthy.
So many times, in my own path, things change when others with integrity show up.
It is like a light.
This light we all speak of is sometimes the integrity we represent.
It can be our devotion and our sacrifice and understanding.
What exactly are you shinning when you "shine your light?"
So today, one a MONDAY - shine integrity or polish it up.
Find it or give it away but let it be what it is.
Have it
Know its limitations.
Know your own limitations.
Know how those make your ebb and flow of life. Be aware.
What and where do "we" go when no one is around? Are we trustworthy?
This is a idea that can carve anyone into anything.
As Jedi, maintain our individual wholeness.
Find it or seek it out. Ask about it. Find a mentor. Find a friend.
Integrity comes in many forms.
It is in every culture and religion and every practice, it is what binds us at times.
As Jedi, it is our integrity that binds us. This is not the only thing. (edited)
Get lost in the sauce.
The idea is to get lost in life and in the integrity we have as Jedi. Find the connections and what binds us. Foster these things and see if things do not change.
Share the connections. It is in the connections of life that life exist.
No one person is connected more than everyone else.
Thank you for allowing us to share this time.

Good morning, Jedi everywhere.
May the Force be with you where ever you are at.
Today is Jedi teaching number ten.
https://www.templeofthejediorder.org/index.php/doctrine
"The first and foremost service a Jedi performs is devotion to our learning. Only by curating our individuated, authentic, whole being-ness, can we serve in more collaborative ways, participating in the creative, renewing flow of the Force. With our devotion to the discipline of universal compassion in the Force, we embody the source of love and harmony we bring into the world. "
Our learning or our study is todays. subject.
There is a dedication and awareness to this. There is an understanding of what we do here.
Jedi teaching 5 reminds us as Jedi - "Jedi comprehend that we are beings of thought, feeling, and will, who flourish within the Force through self-aware action and lifelong learning. "
We, as Jedi, cultivate our thought, feeling and will.
This type of development is real.
This is much more than space cowboys and cinema.
One key understanding is that we can pay attention to how we grow.
I emphasized the word the how.
Here are three basic ideas.
* It is important what you learn.
* It is important where your myth comes from.
*It matters if you are complete or whole inside or not.
I want to hit briefly on these three reminders.
It is important what you learn. It truly is. There are so many roads to walk in life.
The paradox of choice is that there are so many availabilities and avenues, it can seem daunting.
This is where a mentor can help.
Mentors matter.
The metaphor of the mind is as to a garden comes to mind.
Gardens need attention and tending.
So to, our mind can benefit from discipline and scheduling.
Find the need or that which is missing.
I you are in need of a plumber, never call an electrician.
This simple yet funny reminder also applies to our development.
Take some time to know what is what.
It matters where your myth comes from.
I can not express how much this is true.
If anything, Jedi validate myth. I have seen you do it. Have you ever had that little thought inside, " I know where that's from."
Knowing which myths and stories are which, aids any being in development.
Do you know which stories or myths aid? How?
It matters which story you tell.
And furthermore, it matters why you share certain ones as well.
Our intention is what can mold things as well. It does.
There are ideas for edification and stories for fun.
Some stories are for profit only.
Please know the difference.
It matters.
Your whole-ness matters
YOU MATTER
Everything about you matters.
You are inherently as equal as me.
We have parts as humans- our mind body and spirit or our thought, feeling and will.
These can take a balance.
These can be balanced.
This is the reminder.
Pay attention to you and what you are learning.
Reflect
Reflection matters.
On the road to reflection, we find one another. We also find our own being.
Work on you. Work on your own development.
Stay true to your training and leaning.
Turn your "seek" light on. Pay attention to who is around you and what is around you.
The world is full. With or without our aid, the world gets full.
Jedi teaching 10 reminds us -The first and foremost service a Jedi performs is devotion to our learning. Only by curating our individuated, authentic, whole being-ness, can we serve in more collaborative ways, participating in the creative, renewing flow of the Force. With our devotion to the discipline of universal compassion in the Force, we embody the source of love and harmony we bring into the world.
It matters what you learn.
Your being matters.
Where you get your myth, matters.
It is my hope you take these three ideas with you this week.
It is Monday so if anyone has need or would like, I am here.
I will post this for those who will join later.
Any questions?
Jedi comprehend that we are beings of thought, feeling, and will, who flourish within the Force through self-aware action and lifelong learning.
Cultivate those.

Good morning, Jedi everywhere and May the Force be with you.
I do hope your week will go well.
Today's meditation is on teaching number 11:
"The Jedi practise living in universal compassion, understanding the phenomena of our environment. We cultivate a particular sensitivity to when feelings of fear, anger, hatred, and aggression germinate within us. These emotions are among our limitations as incarnated, organic beings. We bring to these feelings hope, pardon, and love in equal measure to bring us back into balance with the movement of the Force."
We live in the ordinary world.
Universal compassion can be tricky.
As Jedi, we believe in the Force, and in the inherent worth of all life within it.
Inherent comes from "not us."
It is a worth that is equal around the ordinary world.
You cannot do anything for it. It is yours to receive freely.
There is a liberty to being Jedi.
One of the liberties a Jedi can take is the ability to treat others with inherent compassion.
Not just others but everything connected.
The huge "phenomena" some days is that we are all connected in so many ways.
Our relationships and connections are how we are attached to the ordinary world.
Now, as Jedi, we think we got it covered but the truth is we need all the practice we can get as well.
How?
How are we connected?
There is a reaction to things we begin with. We learn it in the beginning of our lives, and it moves with us till we realize its presence.
Do you know when you get upset, angry, aggressive or afraid?
These are moments to consider.
Furthermore, there are even more ways to react than just "automatically."
"These emotions are among our limitations as incarnated, organic beings."
We all have these feelings of fear, hatred, aggression and anger.
We bring .......
as the Creed states ...
Hope
Pardon
Love
We are reminded as Jedi to be bringers of these things. To be seekers and keepers of these.
Use them to combat anger.
Use them to combat fear.
Use them to combat aggression.
Use them to combat hate.
One of the solutions to these common states of mind is to be aware they happen.
As Jedi, our perspectives are different by the things we understand.
If we can understand that we all develop the same way, then we can begin to understand how we are all connected.
Now, what happens when you are a "bringer" of such things?
What happens if you are a keeper of such things?
This teaching reminds us " in equal measure."
There is an idea out there that everything looks like the head of a nail to those who hold the hammer.
That which we focus on can determine our reality.
There is a universal idea in which; if we stare all day at the proverbial "bad," it will beget itself.
In the ordinary world, things beget themselves.
In essence, " your vibe attracts your tribe" is a good way of thinking that what you focus on, makes up your reality.
In equal measure can mean that there is equal potential in some other direction or perspective.
Where there is hatred, bring love.
Equally, there is love as there is hate.
Equally, there are list of things happening that are what we consider good and bad and not even sided.
Today can be the greatest day of my life or the worst or, just a normal day. This is the potential of life. At any given moment we can reach any potential.
When finding out these things, common development happens.
Compassion fatigue is real, and you can burn out on caring for others and even serving them.
Salt can turn useless or preserve anything depending on how it is used.
How our perspective lies some days, flavor our world.
The sun will come up today. How will you react today?
Understand your environment.
Take the time to understand your own environment.
Connect with it
Realize, we as humans, have these things in us.
We hate and get angry and upset and set off by things as well. Do you think Jedi have some grand calmness that just AUTOMATICALLY shows up? You must work for results most time. (edited)
This is cultivation.
So, it is my hope that as you have this week - start it off with something to think about.
Bring it!
Bring it Jedi.
Bring love, pardon and hope to the party next time fear, anger, hatred and aggression show up.
Pull the "big guns" out.
Do something different.
Add the Force and change the results, every time.
May the Force be with you,
Pastor Carlos
I do hope your week will go well.
Today's meditation is on teaching number 11:
"The Jedi practise living in universal compassion, understanding the phenomena of our environment. Let us begin
I do hope you and those who tune in are well.
What ever the time is you get to join in , May the Force be with you
Today is Teaching 12
https://www.templeofthejediorder.org/index.php/doctrine
You can find all of them here.
Now, teaching 12 hails from our Creed.
Our Jedi Creed states this ...
This is the beginning part of it: I am a Jedi, an instrument of peace.
Where there is hatred I shall bring love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
And where there is sadness, joy.
I am a Jedi.
In our Creed are these ideas
We are Jedi.
Unconditional love and compassion are our banner.
and not just a blind wholesale version either.
Our Teaching here, invite us to give just enough to sway the change. (edited)
This is a very odd and different things to teach.
Can you give or create or bring enough to "sway or tip the scales?"
Our environment can adjust.
it can change
it can even flow to its own tune.
Times are tough right now.
There is no denying the truth that in 2024- people are uneasy and off center.
I myself get thrown off often by life itself.
As Jedi, we are reminded of the difference that can be had.
"Where imbalance arises, we bring only so much love, pardon, faith, hope, clarity, and joy as is necessary to restore the dynamic equilibrium in our phenomenal environment."
" We bring only so much ..."
There is a measure that is needed sometimes to be reminded.
In life, the need to be reminded often happens.
There is a old Josph Campbell saying in which " The hero often forgets."
This is true.
We forget often we can be the love and not just the love that is needed but the right amount of it too.
So, here are my Monday Morning Mediation questions for today if you like...
How much Love is necessary?
How much "Pardon" do you have on you or in you?
How much faith and what quality of it do you bring or have?
Where does you hope lie?
Where do you get clarity from? Where do you keep it?
Where are your "Joys?"
Reflect on such things and you may find out much more about yourself and about your own life.
Being a Jedi is not just a cinema thing.
It is much more.
This is the ordinary world. We live in it. As such, we are prone to all the good bads and what ever flows our way.
Some will tell and teach you just give until you understand or just give a measure blindly...
I recommend you understand what you're giving and keeping.
Mind your thought, feeling, and will, as we are all beings of these three. (Jedi teaching 5) (edited)
Is our thought, feelings and will a part of the Force or do we force it?
So this Monday we are reminded that we as Jedi can have a central focus. We all do. We all care. It all glows in us pretty much the same.
It can become fatigued by what we see around us or by what happens.
Our "light" or what we glow or shine can become dim. (edited)
I do
I no longer live in the "hood," yet my family is still there.
I no longer live in a state of constant terror and fear...
But someone does.
It is ok to care. We all care. Jedi care.
Please please please please please undertand this - we all care.
In our care, in our share of care, we will find a few pitfalls.
We can care to much.
Today's reminder is to give enough to sway the outcome. Give enough of a reminder that things go the way they would.
We do not always have to " do it all" that's not the point.
As a Jedi - I often think it's all up to me. The whole thing, all the world's problems are on my shoulders and that could not be furthest from the truth.
"Bring only so much."
Want to be different and make a difference- just bring enough. Just a measure. Keep just enough and you will have enough to share.
There are some who just give out like a river or a cloud of rain, just pour it out! What I am recommending is you just give it out in smaller amounts and more concentrated.
Give a bit more by giving less.
So, today, start the week off with the idea of just enough to sway the outcome. Keep just enough to give away. Try that.
May the Force be with you this week, wherever you may be. Any questions? (edited)
Comments concerns invitations to parties' bar mitzvah's skating rink invitations anything like that please feel free to send them!
Good habits can be made just like bad ones.
Masks can be shed.
No truer is the mask of compassion. It matters HOW we care as well and how much.
Jedi matter.
It does matter.
Our actions matter.
May the Force be with you all, Pastor Carlos

Good morning, Jedi, wherever you may be.
May the Force be with you were ever you may hail from today.
Today's Monday morning meditations is a good one.
"The Jedi cultivate empathy with others. Maintaining a keen sensitivity to when the feelings of fear, anger, hatred, and aggression move within us, we empathically and compassionately comprehend how these feelings also arise in others. Those whom we perceive as adversaries also share these limitations. With this understanding, we respond to imbalance so as to return harmony to the flow of interactions."
Empathy
The ability to understand and share with each other.
We as Jedi cultivate empathy.
There are a few ways to do this, so this morning, I would like to share a few.
Life has a way of dwelling in the attachments or the connections we have.
Are you a listener?
Do you understand everything everyone is going through?
The reality is no one ever understands everyone and everything.
Understanding this is to understand that there is always something we can be missing as far as our connections or how we connect to one another. We do not and can not see everything.
Being present can help. With empathy, it is wise to stay in the present moment.
Repeating what is stated or said helps to be present.
Keep the facts or the story straight.
Marcia Reynolds Psy.D. recommends that we remember to "Manage your filters. We naturally hear what fits our assumptions and beliefs. We tune out what contradicts our views. Let yourself be surprised by how they define a situation. Look for new details and angles in their story you didn’t expect to hear."
There is a magic and a path often not taken when we "Manage our filters." Give other people the liberty they need.
Give others the opportunity to have the light as well so to speak.
Give the space needed. Give the time needed.
Do not commiserate or take sides too quickly.
Listen more rather than fill the air with a " yes man" ideas.
Remember, as Jedi, we are not out with the intention to change the world all the time.
The idea to develop a good sense of empathy can be had.
We can practice our version of it.
So, what does your listening look like? How do you listen?
When do you listen?
Do you take into account that we are not the only ones alive and going through what we are?
What do you do to develop your empathy?
I recommend to all Jedi, read your Jedi teaching as often as you can.
Listen more today than talk or give. There are some days we could listen more than act.
Knowing which, can be up to us.
We, all as Jedi and as people, have this road of development we are on.
We meet on the road of reflection often.
Listen to the story of others.
Take a listening class, oh yea, they have them.
I took a listening class. I took one on how to interview my family for "Family interviews."
Everyone has a story.
This is a small, yet huge understanding that gets me sometimes. I forget as well.
At any given time, we as people and Jedi, are in some stage of development.
But we are beings of thought, feeling and will.
So is everyone else.
So too are our circles of connection and influence.
Take some time to reflect on how much you care or what level you care at.
It matters.
If it matters to you, it may matter to someone else.
So today, as we meditate on Doctrine, remember this ...
"The Jedi cultivate empathy with others. Maintaining a keen sensitivity to when the feelings of fear, anger, hatred, and aggression move within us, we empathically and compassionately comprehend how these feelings also arise in others. Those whom we perceive as adversaries also share these limitations. With this understanding, we respond to imbalance so as to return harmony to the flow of interactions. "

Good morning and welcome to another week.
Today is Monday and that means we can start this week off together.
This Monday is Jedi teaching number 14.
PAIN
Good morning, Jedi everywhere.
There is a feeling we get that we all share.
We all experience it in some way shape or form.
No one is excluded from this.
In our studies and in our development, we begin to notice patters that happen.
If you think hard enough or notice, life is full of patterns.
Cycles
seasons
It is in these seasons we find the Force.
So this teaching is a reminder of when One of the patterns we can notice is in US. How much do we give away? How far do we go to AID one another?
We are reminded that life is tumultuous.
Tumultuous
This is a idea that can mean a noticeable or even alert able.
We can notice.
but what are we noticing, truly?
We seek balance.
We strive for it.
and we want to help each other as well.
but here is the thing...
Why help?
As humans who are growing and developing, we want others to join in on this road we are on. It is common.
That want to aid or that drive to defend everyone and everything.
but that's the thing, that's the point. That ZEAL or drive can be easily exhausted.
What is love can turn in just a blink of an eye.
As Jedi, as human, we tend to want to help everyone all the time.
There is a level we can reach called compassion fatigue.
It is a stress response to what is exhaustion or an empty emotional tank.
If left undealt with, it can build up like a leaning tower poorly crafted and set and fall.
So how do we help one another without helping one another? Is that the case ... "I want to help but I don't want to get TOO involved."
There is a active balance that we can have.
There is an active balance in anything we can have.
but this one, the ability to AID one another is one of those that we can over do
You can care too much or even try too hard.
"The clarity of understanding we cultivate permits us to know how and when to offer help to those in need and gives us the courage to do so. "
Some days our presence can say more than our words.
So, this morning, know your limits in a way that you can know how much you can give.
I know people who give so much of themselves it can become troublesome.
Knowing how and when to act is the aim some days of development.
Develop your skills with one another.
Balance is not easy in life and nor is being able to help others find their own.
We have limitations.
Jedi have limitations.
We even have limitations on how much we can aid till it becomes overbearing.
There is a point where the protagonist can become the antagonist.
Within our limits
I hope this week, this Monday, you can take this away with you, Within our limits.
Return balance within our limits.
Life is full.
It can be full of many things.
Jedi Teaching 14 " The Jedi seek to return balance to that which has become tumultuous. Pain is one of the few real things we have access to, and as such, we are dedicated to alleviating it insomuch as is within our limitations. The clarity of understanding we cultivate permits us to know how and when to offer help to those in need and gives us the courage to do so. "
It is up to you how and who you AID.
So, here are three different questions to help this week.
Can you notice when things are in need? Is your "give-a-dam" busted or does it run out?
Do you give everything to anyone who asks?
How do you recharge your compassion for one another when it's out?
I will be here all day on Discord for those who have need.
Any questions?
Apprentice WrenPhoenix — Today at 6:24 AM
How do we recognize when we have given too much?
(Master) Pastor Carlos — Today at 6:24 AM
That is a good question.
Apprentice WrenPhoenix — Today at 6:24 AM
Especially if we are conditioned to give it our all.
(Master) Pastor Carlos — Today at 6:24 AM
What is too much?
Where did you learn to give your all?
These are questions you can ask yourself and find out.
There is an idea out there that goes like this, too much is too much.
As a Jedi, think. We are beings of thought, feeling and will.
We will find the answers there, in our thoughts, in our feelings and in our will.
Any condition we have we can unconditional.
We can unlearn that which we have learned.
Some days, the reminder is to unlearn a few things.
Where does it come from... to give blindly and to want to just give till you cannot anymore? Is that wise?
It is wise to know and act on your limitations.
@Apprentice WrenPhoenix Do you ever find yourself EMPTY from caring so much? When you give till too much?
This doesn't mean you do not care or want to care.
never
It means you have limits.
It means you can only make so many meals for others before you get hungry yourself.
It can mean that you as well, need that time and effort for your own path.

Each of us has "tells. "
Each of us has signs.
Some of us understand these signs.
I begin to get grouchy when I am running out of grace.
My kindness runs out.
Thats how I know it's too much, it begins to convert to taxes... it begins to TAKE more than give.
There is a balance you can understand if you try.
It would seem that the world can be called a mess.
The state of the world can be said is in bad shape.
But at the same time, it can be said that there is hope.
Where does this hope come from?
It is our hope we understand more
Exhaustion is one of the tells everyone faces
The feeling like you are being "controlled " is a key observation too.
It changes color or tone or feeling.
You can also give too much when you reached that "numb" feeling as well.
Too much is when we get the withdraws or the " I no longer want to hang" outs happen.
Too much is when it can become mechanical.
Too much is when "their" needs come first.
Too much is when you don't want to be alone or fear being alone.
Too much is when you don't feel like yourself anymore.
Too much is you always want to please.
Too much is full of negative vibes.
too much is being ignored.
Too much is dreading saying NO.
Too much is when your self-esteem is affected.
Too much is when your life is overfilled with drama
Too much is when you don't have time for yourself.
Being Jedi is not for the meek
There are ways to notice what is going on inside.
Reflection is key.
This Monday - Reflect
I am available all day on this platform.
May the Force be with you all, wherever you may be.
Pastor Carlos
