Hello everyone. I'm new to this community and way of life and am excited to learn and grow. But I also dabble in poetry, I do not claim to be good, but I thought I'd share something I just wrote. I'd appreciate any and all opinions, feedback, and insight. Thank you.

Learning who I am and who I could be
Training my body, mind, and soul for where they should be
Looking inward but blinded by the smoke of my self destruction
Every one of my vices is a master of seduction
Voices whisper screams of anger and pain into my ear
Telling me of all the things that I should fear
But I choose to ignore and keep walking forward
Bringing with me love and light despite my torture
