You can start the initiate programme by going to the top of any page of clicking 'Studies' and then 'IP'.

I am confused as to whether the audio parts of training are required. I am deaf, though I have a cochlear implant (a year ago) computer and phones are still a mystery to my. I hear noise and have a hard time discerning words. I have not always been deaf, only about 20 years or so. Normally if something is not text, or CC, I pass it by.

No the audio is not required, each lesson should have an option to read or listen....but you don’t have to do both.
