Holi: Festival of Colors was created by
Holi is a religious Hindu festival of colors that occurs in the Spring. There is, of course, a story behind it, which is quite interesting!

This year, I will be participating in the celebration at the Sri Sri Radha Krishna Temple and wondered if anyone else has had the opportunity and wanted to share their experience. I think it is going to be a very different, positive way to spend an Easter Sunday!

What an amazing experience! If any of you ever get the chance to participate in something like this, I highly recommend doing so!

That looks like a blast! I hope you have a great time :)

...though I was wondering if that stuff gets inhaled or not? Is it dusty?

It is dusty, yes. I believe it's colored cornstarch - people call it chalk, but it's too soft to be chalk. We had dust masks for the count down throws but stayed out of the middle of it, anyway. We also had goggles but didn't have any issues with it, even with asthma sufferers. :)

In India they use paint, but it's too cold to do that here. I think that would be a blast!
