A friend from Canada once linked me to that very video and I shared it in TOTJO chat once here. Yeah, they look like a hell of a lot of fun!

Where is the other 45 minutes of it?!
That's like...a trailer for Mozart Requiem, hahaha
I've sung it many times. I definitely couldn't study whilst listening to it because I'd be humming along...DIES IRAE, DIES ILLA! SOLVET SAECLUM...ET FAVILLA...TESTE DAVID CUM SYBILLA! Okay, in that section I'd be more yelling along than humming...
Yes, I do know 50 minutes of Latin words and music off by heart   I need to do less singing and get a life, hahaha
But the Lacrimosa (the section that starts at about the 5 minute mark and goes to the end)...it's one of the most emotive passages of music I've ever sung. Always gets me!
Lacrimosa dies illa
Qua resurget ex favilla
Judicandus homo reus.
Huic ergo parce, Deus:
Pie Jesu Domine,
Dona eis requiem. Amen.
Translation:
Full of tears shall be that day
On which from ashes shall arise
The guilty man to be judged;
Therefore, O God, have mercy on him.
Gentle Lord Jesus,
grant them eternal rest. Amen.

I wasn't certain anyone would want to listen to the whole thing, but since you asked about it…
I know some Latin, but I have never translated it. I just love the music for the music’s sake. But I would be interested in knowing the translation if you ever got bored.
The last piece I translated was the Carmina Burana, and that took FOREVER!

I love orchestra music, but more personal to me, is the single solo cello. It drives deeper in me by itself more so than if accompanied by other instruments.
