I read the article in the link below about how Christians, Atheists and other faiths are starting to talk to each other (finally) on a rational, meaningful and respectful basis. The article points at principals which are the foundation of the Jediism and should be on the minds of all Jedi.
It is the very foundation of Jediism to be a peace preserver, negotiator and on occasion, peacemaker. It is our way to be open and tolerant while sharing knowledge without exercising power. Since many of us come from varied other belief systems or no other belief systems it is critical to maintain the openess and respect shown in this article.
What were once opposing forces to each other are learning to understand each other and even find common ground in their search for truth and spirituality. The prinicpals by which they are guiding themselves by are the principals of Jediism and an example of how each of us should carry on with each other.
