Nerd Pron

I have decided to create a hypothetical (read:fictional) redesign of the Death Star. I call it Death Star Mark IV: Savior Moon.
The Basic Idea is to remove the massive superlaser and it's support and replace it with a secondary reactor core or rather a cluster to prevent another one shot explosion, it would basiclly be the opposite of the DARKSABER built by the Hutts,
It would also have a global shield that can be activate at a moments notive, and a massive hangar bay for holding a whole battle fleet (4 superdestroyers, and the full complement of four Imperial II class destroyers for each. as well as about half the space dedicated to hydroponic food and water production and residential quarters, it would essential be used as a collossal transport ship and mobile evac station, you could evac a a whole planet's population in under a few hours with one of these things!

Why evacuate when you can just blow up the enemies home planet and destroy all of them?

Actually I titled the Subject \"nerd Pron\" because when My Brother saw my designs on paper for it (my little brother mind you, well, he's only two years younger than me, plays badass electric guitar, and I don't mean like one of these emo-punk or psuedo-rockers who play a few chords while some hack sings about his girlfriend, I means shreds and moves up and down the scales like Oprah winfrey, I mean a disciple of Steve Vai and the Late Frank Zappa,) he looks at it for a second and I swear to god these were his EXACT WORDS

What scares me is that a Death Star is not entirely improbable. I mean, the firing laser mechanism might be, but... it's not too much of a stretch to imagine a large space station that could possess the weaponry to destroy a planet.

Or, a literal star that dies and takes a planet with it.
