Renew or help a book out ?

Any one here in the Temple know of a restoration type of class one can take for books? Like the actual retire a book or anything like that?
Just wondering if there are classes or courses to do this type of study ... thing ? Any answer is appreciated . I got a lot of old books - flat out old and some falling to pieces. Hate to see em go the way they are falling apart. Please and thank you in advance !

There's a few bookbinders and book restoration near you I think. You might want to lean into those classes to avoid damaging your books.

The American Library Association has some webinars on book repair, and there is also an organization called the American Academy of Bookbinding.
Those might be good starting points for what i think You are wanting...
