Good evening everyone 

It brings me great pleasure to inform you all that Apprentice Resilience has completed his learning and apprenticeship to the satisfaction of the TotJO Council and will thus be promoted to the grade of Jedi Knight.

Please come join us in a ceremony celebrating the conferral of knighthood for him this Sunday, 9 March at 1700 UTC in the Ceremonies room of the TotJO Discord.

Welcome everyone, to this occasion of bestowing Knighthood upon a worthy member of our Order. I am Alexandre Orion, Master Jedi and Council Member. On behalf of the training Master and the Knight Candidate, thank you all for your attendance .

2. Master Zero 💯⁴ — Today at 1:26 PMResi, it’s been a long journey for you. So much longer than most. It has been filled with the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. The one thing I want you to remember is that your journey has brought you experience…..experience that any future apprentices you take will greatly benefit from. Pass that on! Not just the good, but the hardships, and struggles….the lessons you learned from both. Those will be so valuable to anyone lucky enough to enough to train with you! I’ll always be in your corner, as will your brothers and sisters in my line, the rest of the house of Orion, the Knights Corps, and the temple. We are all hear for you, and as much as we will help you, you will help us. The temple is a better place because you’re here! Congratulations Resi! Im very proud of you, and it’s been a great honor to be part of your journey!

4. Knight Resilience — Today at 1:28 PMI dread to think the amount of times I have wrote out something meaningful only to erase it and start over. Yet I think that is a good metaphor to point out, as it is pretty symbolic of my journey. I have started my journey from scratch here a few times, I have had several TM's. You may think that maybe I would of taken the hint that being a Knight may not be for me, but when you truly want something you just never give up on it and like a bird wanting to soar, I just had to learn how to fly. I was going to write a list thanking everybody who has helped me along my journey but I quickly realised that list would be long and nobody wants an essay to read at a ceremony. But I still want to say thank you, far too often did I walk away thinking myself not worthy of love or acceptance. Undeserving of family, but there were those of you here, who did not give up on me, who encouraged me, guided me, and helped me learn that I am deserving of kindness, of acceptance. You helped me develop myself into a better person, and for that I cannot thank you enough. I often thought my future meant isolation, and loneliness, but here, at TOTJO, I have learned that is just not true. @Master Zero 💯⁴ , thank you for never giving up on me, thank you for taking over when my former TM left. I now have reached a life long goal with your support. I cannot truly put together the words that can express the gratitude I have for what you have helped me work towards. @Knight Brenna , thank you for your unwaivered faith in me, you have always seen the best in me even when I just saw a monster in the mirror, accepting whatever version I believed to be me at the time. @Master Alexandre Orion , thank you for conducting the big day, and someone I have known for almost half of my life for continuing to believe in me every attempt I make here. @Senior Knight Tavi 💯⁴ , thank you for being a huge supporter of my comeback. @Knight Rini 💯 ⁵ thank you for always being a support and stable person for me to communicate my thoughts to. @Knight Kenshi 💯³ / @Knight WrenPhoenix 💯² , thank you for everything, you do not know the scope of the impact you had on my journey and I am proud to call you my brothers. and to those of you who have spent time with me along this journey, thank you as well for always seeing something in me that I could not. I used to think my strength was drawn from my ability to be a one-person army, now I realise my greatest strength is not my ability to stand alone, but instead the family here that feels like home and standing together. When you have nothing else left, have hope. Because sometimes, hope will be just what you need.
