In addition to some of the stuff mentioned there...
I spend a crazy amount of time dissecting situations and my responses to them, the whys, the underlying motivations and whether or not its a Jedi response, then working out better ways to respond to stuff in the future. Its not always easy because it means being bluntly honest about my "stuff" but its probably the main "training" that I do.
I suppose you could call it meditation of a sort

Jedi training...
I wash my dishes.
I take out my trash.
I spend time with my daughter and share thoughts, tell jokes, and support her.
I help my neighbor carry his groceries in from his car.
I listen to a close friend who needs a shoulder.
I read a book that makes me contemplate the nature of my life.
I discuss the ideas from the book with another who is also (or isn't) reading it.
I take walks to reflect on my reality.
I take time to learn things through listening to and reading things from my apprentice and from my master.
I practice general mindfulness during high-stress errands and events.
My life as a Jedi isn't grand, epic, not even that particularly "zenful". I focus on the small, simple things.

Body, mind and.... the Force!! With some structure, progress can be better mapped, monitored and made efficient alongside all the other things we have going on in a busy life. My standard answer to this has always been to consider our mental capacities in distinct areas and try to exercise each one. So the '
theory of multiple intelligences
' is one way to do it. Which tends to lead to the question, how does one choose to define the Force
:pinch:
Particulars change, as progress occurs, which I think is important because it's good to seek novel connections and patterns in those things which can really exercise applying the Jedi mind to various things and not just become set in a limited body. But I do spread myself a bit thin, so am biased. But in regards to developing specialty, given time I'd like to think I can bring up a few areas based on the result of my practice rather then focusing on anything in particular to be my practice. Subtle difference perhaps.

Practice charity, compassion and contentment - one can't merely read about such things, one practices and lives them. Not because they're virtuous modes of being, but because they are in our truest nature.
