My apologies, then. But pointing out that "spitting out the poison" could be construed as a "one way" misses the point. A bit of flexible thinking is called for.
Clearly it is A way. People do it. But who cares? The object is to not infect one's practice with the kind of nonsense that becomes fanatacism later on.
Or it is, at least, an object.
