[5:23 AM] RosalynJ: So having seen these two videos, keep in mind the instructions above. Try to find those times during the day. We'll discuss more on the forum
[5:23 AM] RosalynJ: In the activity, it talks about the “underlying harmony” and that is what I would like to focus on today.
[5:23 AM] RosalynJ: There are many things, especially right now, in our world that are chaotic. What is the Jedi’s role in the midst of chaos?
[5:24 AM] RosalynJ: The best thing to ask ourselves is “Is this chaos?”
[5:24 AM] RosalynJ: The answer might be obvious in some cases, but in others might not be. Sometimes chaos may come from our perspective, our own feelings, our own ideas.

[5:24 AM] RosalynJ: Sometimes we experience chaos when the world, our world, isn’t as we want it to be. This can be internal or external, the reach can be small or large.
[5:25 AM] RosalynJ: I remember a particularly chaotic period of my personal life, right when I found the Jedi Path.
[5:25 AM] RosalynJ: Suffice it to say that my house was chaotic. At one point there were eleven people living in a 3 bedroom house.
[5:25 AM] RosalynJ: To say this was doing a number on my mental health would be an understatement. I can safely say this was chaotic
[5:26 AM] RosalynJ: In my best way, I tried to be there for my family in the chaos, after all, being a Jedi and a mental health graduate student, I felt I had some pretty good tools, but I found that I could not help them.
[5:26 AM] RosalynJ: This is the biggest lesson I learned about chaos, yet harmony. That I cannot help others to get to a harmonic space if I myself am not there. It’s a bit like trying to fight a tornado while you are in a tornado. Tiring and very ineffective.

[5:27 AM] RosalynJ: That is one thing that I want to bring forward. Like the airplane safety demonstration says “put your oxygen mask on first”. Ensure you are in the best shape that you can be to bring harmony to a situation.

[5:27 AM] RosalynJ: Once you have answered the question, is this chaos? You need some direction as to what to do, and that is where the Force comes in.
[5:27 AM] RosalynJ: The Force, if you listen, will give you “the next step”. What is it that you need to do right now? That’s all we have really. We cannot do more than one thing at a time.
[5:28 AM] RosalynJ: Once you have gotten your direction, then take the next step.
[5:28 AM] RosalynJ: As Jedi, we are instruments of peace, but we are also instruments of Knowledge, Serenity, Harmony, and the Force.

[5:28 AM] RosalynJ: The world, whether it is large or small for us, does look to us. As long as we are taking care of ourselves and following the will of the Force, we can bring harmony into the world.
