From what I read he lived an amazing life and was well loved and well cared for towards the end. I know that any sadness I feel is selfishness at the loss I feel. Which is ok, but to think of it this way allows me to move on faster. He did more then many will ever imagine and has made a mark on the hearts and minds of millions. He was a truly blessed man. Let us rejoice in his memory. In fact I think I might watch a Star Wars video tonight with dinner in remembrance. To quote Jedi Master Yoda:

“Death is a natural part of life. Rejoice for those around you who transform into the Force. Mourn them do not. Miss them do not. Attachment leads to jealously. The shadow of greed, that is.”

He lived a good life and brought joy to a lot of people. Really, that's all anyone can hope for in the end. The Force was with him, and still is.

Met him and his lovely wife at the 2nd Star Wars Celebration convention. I was seated next to them for the Star Wars Concert, and chatted with them at the start of the night, and at intermission. Such a lovely couple.

He'll be missed, but he lived a truly wonderful life.
