I belive that space exploring is truly a good thing.
However there are so many mysteries still on earth that we haven't solved yet, we don't know everything about the human race.
But i do also belive that finding and maybe colonising planets is important for our survival. In case things go bad here on earth

so, this topic lead me to this article:
http://www.space.com/15405-asteroid-mining-feasibility-study.html
"Is Asteroid Mining Possible? Study Says Yes, for $2.6 Billion"
i think its a great idea
and it made me wonder if we might be able to use, on earth, energy acquired by an orbiting solar array
which lead me to this:
http://spectrum.ieee.org/green-tech/solar/how-japan-plans-to-build-an-orbital-solar-farm
"How Japan Plans to Build an Orbital Solar Farm"
thanks for this topic Goken, i had no idea of either of these things
