two things I loved about this (well, I loved all of it, but two outstanding)
1st. Bill Nye throwing his arms around expounding "there's billions and billions of stars (etc)"... Hilariously awesome. I mean, come on, all he needs is an oversized clock/watch-thing, some phat diamond/gold/bling, a couple of bro's nodding in the background and a couple of ho's hanging off of him... 100% gangster rap icon
2nd. On a more serious note. "We are a way for the cosmos to know itself." => => =>
Sorry, it's just... it's just that... after years of trying to rationalise this existence to myself... that was almost my exact conclusion. Nowhere was it so neatly expressed, though! We are a way for the cosmos to know itself. There are some truly powerful implications that come out of this idea. It erases all light and dark from the equation. Everything is simply experience.
It feels like I've waited my whole life to hear that sentence from someone else. I need to go lie down...
