One of my favorite books, The Little Zen Companion, is full of short sayings and koans that I've found helpful. I thought I'd share some of them
“Sitting quietly, doing nothing, Spring comes, and the grass grows by itself.”
― Matsuo Bashō
The nature of God is a circle of which the center is everywhere and the circumference is nowhere.
—Empedocles
Fundamentally the marksman aims at himself.
—Zen in the Art of Archery
The only Zen you find on the tops of mountains is the Zen your bring up there.
—Robert M. Pirsig
If you cannot find the truth right where you are, where else do you expect to find it?
—Dogen

A quote i first heard in Stargate SG1 by Oma Desala but i have also heard it recently in one of Alan Watts lectures;
"Lightning flashes, sparks shower; in one blink of an eye, you have missed seeing."
and another couple from Oma Desala;
"The river tells no lies, though standing on the shore the dishonest man still hears them."
"The success or failure of your deeds, does not add up to the sum of your life. Your spirit cannot be weighed. Judge yourself by the intentions of your actions, and by the strength with which you faced the challenges that have stood in your way. The Universe is vast and we are so small. There is really only one thing we can ever truly control... whether we are good or evil."
and my favourite one;
"When the mind is enlightened and the spirit is free, the body matters not."
