Christmas Witch was created by Br. John
\"La Befana,\" an ugly, broomstick wielding witch parades through the streets of Urbania in Italy bringing gifts to the children during the festival of Epiphany [the 12th day of Christmas]. A popular belief is that her name derives from this festival, but there's evidence to suggest that she descended from the Sabine/Roman goddess named Strina.
