A Jedi with $1 million was created by

What would you do if you won the lottery, got a large inheritance, made it big, etc. Do you believe it is your duty to give it to The Order, spend it on yourself, build a temple that everyone dreams of or whatever you feel you believe is right. Other religions have their benefactors, shouldn't we?

Easy, ....clear up my debt, then make sure I have a home that really is mine...likely donate a good portion of the remainder....clearing up my debt enables me to not worry about anyone coming to take my home...my home would be built as a sort of mini temple away from everything...

Very few wealthy people would ever consider Jediism and even fewer would become knights. We probably never will have wealthy benefactors for that reason.

If I won $1million I'd probably donate half of it. If I had Bill Gates' money I'd donate everything I couldn't possibly spend in my lifetime.

Few are those who see with their own eyes and feel with their own hearts.

Why do you think wealthy people would not donate? Scientology exists because of it. Why can't that phenomena be replicated?

I think Scientology is is the second richest religion, behind the Vatican....

The rich will donate to anything that offers them a tax exemption...it's simply a matter getting one interested...

And even with that, what I hear around here is that we are struggleing with funds. This site only stays up because of Br. John's generosity. I would give if I had a job and was not in school. We need more...fundraising for lack of a better word.

untrue. We're self-sufficient. Ever since we moved to the new, more expensive server, we've paid the bills with what people donated through the paypal button. It can be a bit worrying sometimes, but we've never had to ask anyone to cover for totjo's expenses since we've had that button.
